Club Penguin: Game Day! translates the charm of the online world into a party game format for the Wii. Players create their own penguin avatars and join teams to compete in a series of quirky minigames. Dance offs, snowball fights, and ice fishing are just some of the activities you'll enjoy. While the controls can feel a bit imprecise, and the minigames lack long-term depth, Club Penguin: Game Day! offers a dose of lighthearted fun, especially for fans of the original online game and families with younger players.

Out of the 12 times I've had people over at my house, we have played this game half of those times.

I'm biased, as a fan of party games / minigame collections myself, but I remember enjoying my time with Game Day as a kid. The minigames are all good, and I really enjoyed exploring the island in 3D, with my only criticism for it being the monotony of the campaign. But overall it's a good game with some nice Club Penguin charm.

I also got a good few virtual coins off this game, as I played it back when Club Penguin's servers were still live and the coin transfer functionality worked, so I'm probably very biased.

played this on a first date one time, that's all you need to know how good it is

Did you guys know that the limited edition version of this game is the most expensive Wii game of all time?

That being said this is just a decent Mario Party clone with some nice Club Penguin nostalgia

ONE OF THE BEST WII GAMES IN EXISTENCE

when I was young I would play the beanbag race minigame over and over again against the CPU what was wrong with me

I think this game would've been better if they added my favorite video game characters "The Rabbids" from Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show. If they went "BWAAAHHH" and then the Smarty Pants announcer came in and went "Sorry!" but only before "Heyyy buzzz!" radiated throughout the room with the same inspiring tone used to influence Square Enix to make their best game yet Balan Wonderworld. If only there were a board game that made no sense and had minigames where the result of only two people mattered like Pac-Man Party or there were a quiz show in which both answers kill you anyway like some of my favorite Team Fortress 2 maps, in fact, this game could learn a lot from TF2 like not getting updates, in fact, I'd argue the constant updates to Club Penguin: Game Day! are ruining the game slowly, I mean really, who's idea was it to add a Barrel Blast collab? Or, better yet the new "Daylight" mode where you hold one button and wait for the new $6.99 killer to come get you while doing quicktime events. It's not ALL bad though, I'll admit, I did have some fun in the 6-Man ladder match mode or even when playing the Enkidu special. Despite all of its faults, something about Club Penguin: Game Day! keeps me coming back, I don't know why but I think I enjoy it more than some of my most favorite games. Whether its me putting in my real age and not abusing the system when the game asks "How old are you" or the characters doing the Gangnam Style at random intervals, or maybe its even the Fluster Cluck of Madness that takes place in this Typical TV Party. Whatever it is, there's only one thing I can say for sure.

Club Penguin Game Day must've experienced one hell of a CRUNCH TIME! to make it where it is today.

That's all from me, I need to get back to listening to Weezer and DEMONDICE, they're both in my top 10 most played artists of the month! I was going to have my pet duck write the outro to this one originally, but he kept writing things my lawyer has advised me to remove, Sorry!

jogava qnd criança no wii, ainda tenho midia fisica lol, pouuco legal mas cansa e o controle nao funfa legal

This game have a good ideas but feel unfinished, Only 4-5 of the 12 minigame are base of the online game. It feel like it end when it start

I may be a big Club Penguin fan, but ngl bros....I thought this game was kinda stinky

I'm not really sure why I didn't like this game, maybe because it wasn't as fun as Mario Party or the game was too short? don't really know, I was a weird child back then, so weird that it was the only video game I've ever returned, don't know if that was a good decision or not. honestly though, I still don't have any interest in replaying this game, but I'm glad to hear that other people enjoyed it more than I did.

also it's pretty funny that there's an image of this game inside Fortune Street's files lol

No matter how many coins you earn, there's nowhere to send them now. A fun party game in a dead universe.

This game was the GOAT. Didn't matter I had no friends to play it with, this shit was ICE 🥶🥶🥶

When I played it I was super underwhelmed. I think it was meant to be played with friends but we always used to play Mario Kart and Smash instead of this.

além do Club Penguin clássico esse é o outro melhor. minigames bons e ver a ilha em full 3D era MÁGICO!!!!!

I stand here, bewildered and questioning the choices that led me to encounter not one, not two, but five games that are somehow worse than this abomination called Club Penguin: Game Day! It's as if the game developers embarked on a journey to craft a digital monstrosity so grotesque that even Satan himself would disown it.

From the moment this wretched title infects your beloved Wii or Wii U console, you'll find yourself contemplating drastic measures. Burying your gaming systems and sending their remains hurtling into the abyss of an asteroid belt might seem like the only recourse to cleanse your digital soul of the horrors within.

The nightmares of this cursed game haunt my every waking moment. I still shudder at the recollection of that abominable snowball minigame, where a skunk carcass served as the main antagonist. It's as if the game designers were in a contest to see who could create the most absurd and nightmarish scenario.

As the madness unfolded, I made it my solemn mission to subject myself to a relentless barrage of bad video games, all in the hope that Club Penguin: Game Day! might ascend from the depths of gaming hell to claim a spot in the "upper 50%" of my list. The very fact that such aspirations exist speaks volumes about the abyss this game has plunged us into.

In the end, this game left me questioning not only my gaming choices but also the very nature of reality. It's akin to the paranoia one feels when inspecting suspiciously shaped Halloween candy wrappers for razor blades, all while unknowingly angering a mafia boss concealed within, a boss who guards his hidden stash of malevolence. Club Penguin: Game Day! is a black hole of gaming, an experience best avoided unless you have a masochistic desire to explore the darkest recesses of digital torment.

Score 1/10

The one thing I never expected as a kid was a Wii exclusive Club Penguin minigame collection that actually goes REALLY hard~

This game was awesome, and I used to play with my siblings A LOT, mainly messing around in the lobby and customizing our penguins. The minigames had really good variety, the soundtrack was super good, and the graphics were very nice!

I wish it was easier to replay it, but it only really works on the Wii cause of motion controls

i remember getting this as a birthday present from my uncle and the only minigame i remember was the dancing minigame and the times when i would get really into it while my family laughed at me for getting so into club penguin dancing minigame

100% this game in an hour when i little eddy and i creamed

A content dry, lacking party game that does contain some fun within, but it's nothing that isn't done better in other games. And trust me... it's all stuff done in other games, the "inspirations" are in no way subtle.

I remember this being the easiest way I made millions of coins in the game to transfer to my actual club penguin account.

Definition of a perfect party game with a genre defining story mode

i got this when i was 8 because i liked club penguin. this was the first game i ever disliked to the point i returned it. still 100%ed it though
