I tried it one time with some friends. Thought it was aight. Fighting games just aren't much of my thing.

Great gameplay, but god this is poorly optimized for the PC. But well, overall yeah, good gameplay, the story... Well it's DOA, the story is nothing, they even try to do something with the whole "timeline" thing, but it turns out to be just boring and repetitive.

Character design top tier, for many reasons. Fast flowing combat with fast flowing counters to match. Still looks good till this day imo. Also everyone on the roster hits. Tag team fights, something everyone fighting game doesn't want now. Can shake the controller to shake tits. Top Tier game right here.

One of the most fun games out there and It comes jam packed with content. DoA Is such a great FG.
Yeah yeah, I know it's the boob game. I won't deny that boobs are cool. But this game genuinely has a ton of mechanical depth. It's fast and furious and with a ton of character variety. You can't go wrong playing it, either for the fun as hell fighting mechanics, or just the titties. Both are valid.
Very fun to play and definately my fav of the realistic graphics DOA era...well not much competition since all it's going up aganist is that garbage game DOA6. Anyway, it feels great to play and it also introduced the other GOAT Nyotengu! Who goes on and off with Ayane as my pick for me, if only Nyotengu was in more good games...oh well. Story is gibberish garbage btw but you can easily mod or ignore it so.

a historia desse jogo é horrivel e não faz sentido nenhum, e o jogo se resume basicamente a DLCs.
mas o principal que é a gameplay é muito boa, o combate é muito fluido e as animações são muito bem feitas e bem encaixadas.
o gráfico é muito bonito pra época e continua agradável até hoje.
até que a gameplay é bem simples de pegar (tanto que so spamar botão funciona maioria das vezes), mas se você quiser ele tem uma complexidade a mais no combate com mecânicas como counters, power blow, tag team e etc.
em geral é uma boa experiência no quesito fighting game, mas deixa a desejar no resto.

I have played each version of DOA5 and this is the best of them. All the characters and story is amazing! It still won't beat my love for DOA4 though!
I'm surprised on how little this game differs for its predecessors, sure, you have a few new things like the power blows, but the core gameplay is basically the same, to the point that if you are a casual player, most of the changes would be imperceptible, this isn't necessary a bad thing, but doesn't give you a reason to play it if you have another DOA, outside of maybe a campaign, which isn't very deep (Specially because of the open ending) and all over the place, at least I can say is amusing. In short, is a fun game, but one with very few reasons to recommend

I have way more hours on PS4, I wish people still played this It's way better than DOA 6. It's even better on PC since you can import custom costumes (Or lack of costume) very easily

Came for the hot women, stayed for the surprisingly deep and interesting fighting game, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Moleque, DoA conseguiu ser bem pior do que Fighting EX Layer pra mim, boa sorte pra quem curtiu o jogo, sejam felizes.
DoA 4 was better but this one's ok. At least, before they re-released it as a F2P game with $1700 of DLC.

Honestly, this is the one series that I tend to stay away from. Not necessarily because the game is bad, but for the same reason you wouldn't catch me playing Huniepop.
I think the gameplay was okay, it felt good combo wise and mechanic wise. Multiplayer? I couldn't tell you whether there was one to be honest. I think it exists. The single player wasn't memorable in the slightest. The roster at least has its signature characters and hazards/stage design is decent.
I probably wouldn't go back to playing it after completing the story to be honest.
