The current version on steam is an absolute banger, a lot of improvement from when I first started playing in 2018. Give it a try, just know it takes a while when you're learning how to best deal with situations. Pro-tip, make you and your friends with good abilities, then watch your friends die because you suck at the game.

Excellent training for the upcoming zombie apocalypse
All theese years, this game still makes me laugh. The time I got closest to beating it it was just the dog left, on foot, searching for a car to drive and fuel to burn in a tunnel.
I LOVE this game, however, its massive difficulty curve will either turn you away or entice you and guess what it did to me. This was multiple years of on and off attempts until a few months ago when I got to the last siege and died. Then, I was playing it to waste time while other games downloaded and I beat it.
Amazing Game, just overall it's got great gameplay and tabletop rpg aspects to it, it could use some work on the character creator and fighting system but it's a good fun game especially multiplayer
A comical expansion of the "Oregon Trail" type game. Hilarious and fun. Made even better by the character creator that lets you imagine you and your friends in this cartoonishly violent zombies world.

I really couldn't get into this game. The controls feel sluggish and clunky and the gameplay itself wasn't anything too interesting
Just a great game to spend some time with. The playable equivalent of popcorn.
Straight to action, really funny, you can replay it for a long time and it has lots of easter eggs. Highly recommend, it's fun even when playing alone.

Timeless gameplay with never ending story features. There is no true story, you will create your own with every playthrough. It has a very high difficulty and requires a lot of skill and look. Sound design is A tier.
Perfect game for a 20-40 minutes session. It's a bit hard but I've been playing it for years and it still makes me laugh to this day.

My best friend, sister and I are trying to get Canada, but we always blow up the car around the 8 days left moment. This is an incredibly memorable and clever indie title. Wish there was online play so we could play more often.

A fun hidden gem about zombie apocalypse and road trips
The only thing keeping it at this rating is that it gets boring after a game or two. Gameplay is fun, characters are fun to play as and to interact with. All the different modes and the character customization make me come back to this game a lot more than I thought I would
This game is hard as balls and I still haven't even beaten it technically. I have been so close a few times and I believe it knows this, so the bad RNG luck will clothesline me right at the finish line.
I love the character customization because it has a ton of traits, most of them I still need to unlock, that could be helpful for future runs. I made a crap ton of characters just so I could see them later and say Hi :).
The combat can be annoying at times, but it's dependent on the skills of your characters; some are just better at some things, bro. There is nothing more terrifying than being stuck in a swarm, really gets your adrenaline running.
It's honestly just like any other rougelike game, I f*cking hate it when I'm losing but OH BOYYY do I love it when I'm winning.

Funny and varied game, must be even better with the cooperative.
interesting survival game but the fact that you can't manual aim guns is annoying. also the music, while good, is completely inappropriate for the gameplay.

I legit suck at this game. But I see it's value I love watching others play it. Do give this game a go and you might just be good at it.
