underrealized and not particularly memorable... but cool design elements

A short visual novel about the suicide of a supreme AI. You play as disembodied hands that accurately predict the future. I wrote a story for Stray Lines 3 oddly similar to this, if you would consider Divination a sequel to it, they'd go together quite nicely

A neat experiment, I think audio-visually it's great and the story's interesting for most of the runtime, but I must admit that it maybe left me slightly disappointed at the end. Still I enjoyed playing it overall, it was a cool experiment.

this shows a ton of potential. Sadly the sheer amount of characters and themes touched upon during the very short time you play it for makes the game feel vague, I think it might have benefitted from focusing on a smaller cast and maybe a more linear story.
Overall I didn't have a bad time with this game.
The soundtrack is good, the art is great and its gameplay (while not expanded upon in a significant way) is a neat concept.
That said, it still left me wanting for way more (and not in the good way).

A very short VN with a few interesting ideas involving predicting the future, the meaning of life, and AI. Unfortunately, due to the length of the game, these concepts presented within the story are not explored very far. Outside of that, the grammar for English is spotty or stiff in a few places but isn't incoherent. Despite these issues, it's still probably worth trying given it's cheap, short, and was interesting enough.

Beautiful setting, fantastic illustrations, but generally underwhelming as both a story and a set of mechanical interactions. Making explicit the implied meaning of the illustration you show the client is a bad move, both because it's hard to connect the ambiguous and sometimes arbitrary glyph with the definite answer and because letting the client interpret is a more interesting way to express their character. Either way, it feels like a tutorial but without the part where you feel like you've gotten an understanding of the mechanics by the end.

i would play the hell out of a larger/expanded version of this, but even for what it is i really loved what i experienced

Really enjoyed this, love the aesthetic, the story is interesting and the art is fantastic. Worth it's short run time.

For the length and the price, Divination is an interesting 1-hour experience. It will make you think about AI for a bit. I myself found my time with it enjoyable, though I wish gameplay were more complex and that they played around with the concept more. It’s interesting to me, but I think this game isn’t gonna be for everyone. If you wanna see cool art and be edgy for a bit, I’d get this game.

oh so they meant short short? also if you wanna release your video game on switch please do something that isn’t the little silly cursor

amazing aesthetic. it needed WAY more runtime to figure out what it's about. i hope the devs do more with this concept

Reads like a bad translation, which is a shame, since reading is most of it.
