e eu nunca tinha jogado a versão plus, mas resolvi aproveitar que a epic games deu de graça pra rejogar
e, pra ser honesto, acho que vale mais a pena jogar a versão original e gratuita
essa versão acrescenta umas coisas bem triviais e sem graça
mas, o jogo ainda é muito bom, a história e os personagens são ótimos, o plot twist é muito bom (por mais que o final seja meio besta) e a trilha sonora é incrível

I do not like horror movies. One could say I HATE them, especially ones with cheap jumpscares. The tragedy, then, is that I ADORE a good horror story. Horror games blend some of the best stories I've ever read with some of the shittiest jumpscares you've ever seen, and it takes a masterpiece for me to overcome that fear.
This is that masterpiece.
From toying with video game expectations, and especially visual novel conventions, to the FANTASTIC character writing, DDLC is truly one of those games that even if you hate jumpscares and horror, you really should play. It's really, really worth it.

Uma carta de amor em formato de obra, literalmente. Um jeito nada convencional de contar uma história através de uma visual novel com uma arte bem bonita e uma trilha sonora maravilhosa, envolvendo um plot-twist chocante, surgido de uma ideia mirabolante. Uma trama que lhe deixa curioso e faz você se importar com o que está à sua volta, pior ainda, com o que foge do seu controle. Uma ótima experiência, entregue por tamanha dedicação do autor.

Ainda não joguei as histórias paralelas, mas pretendo concluí-las logo.

Um dos meus jogos favoritos, nunca tinha jogado o gênero de visual novel e foi uma experiência muito boa, é como estar lendo um livro com imagens, a arte do jogo é muito linda a trilha sonora também muito boa de se ouvir jogando, a jogabilidade não tem muito oque falar pois é só ler mais o ponto forte do jogo é na história, o conceito da história de a personagem saber que está em um jogo e não poder ser escolhida e por isso enlouquecer é muito boa e excelente executada, todas as personagens tem personalidade forte diferente da outra que conforme vc joga aprende mais sobre elas e isso torna o jogo muito imersivo não parecendo que só são npcs, as adições das histórias paralelas foi uma ótima adição ao jogo chorei muito nelas, e além da história de horror nas paralelas eles tocam em assuntos bem fortes como depressão, personalidade obsessiva, dependência emocional, abuso, e eles conseguem tratar de tudo isso de uma forma muito boa conscientizando sobre tudo isso, mudou minha mentalidade, me apaixonei nesse jogo e até platinei, a personagem que mais gostei foi a Natsuki

В оригинальной игре в любой момент можно было зайти в папку с игрой и удалить файл любого персонажа, чтобы посмотреть на то, как на это отреагирует игра. В DDLC+ файловую систему игры перелопатили. Теперь при выходе из игры появляется виртуальная машина с файлами/почтой/картинками и музыкой. Удалить вручную можно только файл Моники в 4-м акте, либо до начала новой игры, чтобы получить быструю концовку.
Игра официально локализирована. С кучей ошибок, опечатками и максимальным смягчением остроты реплик, в сравнении с фанатской русификацией оригинала.
Из нововведений - почта, новые арты и музыка, а также шесть совершенно необязательных дополнительных пятиминутных историй о жизни литературного клуба, которые сначала нужно открыть, пройдя (снова) все руты персонажей в основной игре.
После просмотра этих дополнительных историй (вариантов выбора в них нет, главный герой в них не участвует) открывается седьмая история, которая является новой "верной" концовкой игры.
Итого, имеем абсолютно бездарное платное переиздание бесплатной игры, в котором испортили файлы персонажей и их пасхалки.
Единственная ценность DDLC+ это возможность приобрести физическое издание игры для консоли.

Doki Doki Literature Club is one of those special games that's just hard to forget. It expertly blends cuteness with depressing horror, creating one of the most shocking and creative narratives in the genre.

Although, on the surface, it looks like any other dating visual novel game, it doesn't take long for it to show its secrets. Every single twists for both the narrative and characters is heartbreaking and completely unexpected. Even if you already knew the twist, like me, it still manages to caught me by surprise.

I also love how each of the four characters has their own distinct personality and writing style, which makes them all the more endearing. Simply reading these poems alone already makes the game worth playing, as the script was written so well that you could really feel the passion behind them.

If I could recommend a version to play though, I would definitely pick the original free version as this expansion does make a few changes that are, quite honestly, downgrade and even immersion breaking.

Despite it though, Doki Doki Literature Club remains one of the best and most original horror games of the modern generation. It's one that even those who aren't into cutesy aesthetics should still try to play.

I've been a huge fan of DDLC since the original but the additions here are just amazing (and you have also a good reason to replay it all).
In this review I'll only talk about the "plus" part, which is mainly side stories completely detatched from the main game, even though their existence is explained lore-wise, in their themes: you don't have the metagame or the horror part that was the main focus in DDLC, but instead a story about friendship that shows more multifaced and deep characters and puts them in a real-life setting. It doesn't have to follow the usual visual novel/anime tropes before deconstructing them because you already know the characters from the main game.
For this reason, I recommend playing it only after the original DDLC (maybe even after some decantation).
It's written so well that it seems almost didactic about how to handle complicated emotional situations, while not being too dramatic or exaggerated.
Its only flaws are the ripetitive structure of the stories (basically new member joins, the previous balance is ruined, they talk about it, problem resolved) and the fact that there's no real gameplay, just text and good music, even better than the original OST in my opinion.
Oh and you also have achievements and a new really cool and useful main menu

Lembro vividamente da série de memes que esse jogo proporcionou, nunca tinha jogado, vale muito a pena, mesmo tendo tomado spoiler na época do lançamento.

E isso se dá muito pelo fator de eu ter uma memória de peixe, então só lembrar das cenas chocantes. O que me leva a falar que não sei avaliar o plus do jogo, já que nem lembro o que tem nesse jogo que não tem no jogo original.

Tirando minha falta de memória, o jogo é muito bom, tenso e pega o terror perfeitamente bem na sua pequena, porém marcante duração. Tenho certeza que não vou esquecer de nada dessa vez, uma pena, pois rejogar o jogo poderia ser legal.
