It's funny how Sonic Super Stars and Frontiers fill me with nothing, but a Game Maker game from ten years ago makes me rock hard. It's Sonic if he was in a Treasure game, hell yeah.

And IDGAF what anyone says that ending was real as fuck.

The second stupidest title for a game I have ever seen, behind Mortal Kombat 1. And yet, it's a surprisingly competent fangame with some of the most enjoyable boss fights I've experienced in a 2D Sonic game.

Indescribably peak.

We don't need to talk about the ending.

I don't know why I think about this game so much, but it's one of the first examples that comes to my mind when trying to think of "good boss rush games".

There's just so much variety, and the difficulty plus amount of fights really makes it feels like an uphill battle (it even starts on a literal uphill battle) which makes the final victory feel really satisfyingly earned.

The audio was absolutely fucked when I played it tho. Lowered all volume settings to 1 and it still was ear-destroying IIRC. Idk if that's ever been fixed.
