Used to play this in the computer labs as a kid. So good.

Very interesting game, definitely give it a try if you're open for more rts goodness of its time.

This game was an incredible achievement

Loved this when I was younger. Played it for hours with my dad back in the das. Good memories.

one of the greatest strategy games of all time

It's okay, Yuri, this truck is just carrying potatoes.

You may pass.

This game is an absolute banger! It's the best strategy game I ever played, and also my first game ever. Also, playing it with friends is just increnibly fun. Altought, you will need a lot of copium if someone uses prophets.

going from stone age to the future.

Maybe it's because of nostalgia, but the game's really good, I used to play this all day when I was a child. Think of it as Age of Empires that begins in prehistoric age and goes up until the robotic age. There are planes, helicopters, nuclear weapons etc. in late game and it's so fun. There are also (single player) campaigns, Ancient Greek, Medieval English, WW1-WW2 German and near future Russian. The Russian one is especially good, has a nice story. The only problem with the game is its AI in normal single player games. The AI feels much more powerful than you and they rarely fight between themselves, at least in my case.

Bomba atômica em homem das cavernas.

Poor Rick Goodman. Had Bill Gates died before he destroyed Stainless Steel, the developer of EE, I would cave in and give this game the 7/10 that it is. There are many things I can greatly appreciate about Empire Earth just by not playing it, because it's basically a more boring version of Age of Empires with a very generic gameplay loop, not to mention severely glacial pacing even when game speed is maxed (not as slow as AoEII Dark Age starts).

This is ONLY a 10/10 because it deserves tons of respect for harboring immensely positive intent, and should be officially revived to fix its problems stemming from being dated. Sadly, that's not happening anytime soon, because the scumbag who wants to minimize competition destroyed EE and made it nonexistent in order to keep Age of Empires 2 afloat. Empire Earth may suck to play nowadays without mods, but the game itself exudes so much passion that it deserves respect. It's ostensibly a more polished AoE1, another game with a niche playerbase based in Vietnam and parts of China. EE is even more indie, with a niche playerbase consisting of Latin Americans, particularly South America.

EE1 is so good that it has the opposite thing to Sticker Star: it is the best entry in the series, and every subsequent release would get worse over time. Art of Conquest barely made any changes and had awful campaigns sans World War II. EE2 is meh. EE3 is... Uh, bad. The original 5 campaigns are actually very special and are incredibly fun to play, especially the Russian campaign. That story was truly riveting, and the dialogue/voice acting was fantastically timeless. EE1 is yet another case where passion is more important than anything, and I find myself coming back to it and feeling bad for Stainless Steel whenever I remember their untimely, undeserved fate. Especially considering Mad Doc, now a subsidiary of Rockstar Games, ultimately smashed the series after promising to keep it alive. Nice going. I'm just going to watch the campaign playthroughs in addition to listening to EE1's great music.

It is THE BEST Empire Earth game and dare I say one of THE BEST RTS I've ever played, the gameplay, visual effects (which for most might have aged badly but not for me) and soundtrack are still as good as I remember, everything about this game is fantastic and was one of the games that introduced me to the RTS genre back in the days.

As a gamer who played Empire Earth when I was around 10 years old, I have very fond memories of the game. I enjoyed every aspect of it and spent countless hours playing it. The game's epic scope and scale really captured my imagination, and I loved building and managing civilizations across different eras and geographies.

While I was not as critical of the lack of innovation and poor AI at the time, I can understand why some players and critics have raised these issues. Looking back, the game did draw heavily on elements from other popular real-time strategy games like Age of Empires and Civilization. The AI could also be predictable and not very challenging for experienced players. However, the varied gameplay options, customization features, and epic scope of the game more than made up for these shortcomings in my eyes.

The graphics and sound of Empire Earth were also very impressive to me at the time. The attention to historical accuracy and detail really added to the immersion of each historical era. However, I do remember struggling with the user interface at times, especially when it came to managing my armies.

Despite any criticisms, I highly recommend Empire Earth to anyone who enjoys real-time strategy games. The game offers a wide range of historical periods and civilizations to play with, as well as plenty of customization options and gameplay modes. If you're looking for a game that will keep you engaged for hours on end, Empire Earth is definitely worth checking out.

Age of Empires but from caveman to robots.

Epic game, funny campaigns, plenty fun, cheaty AI though.

On paper this is the ultimate RTS game. You start in the stone age with units carrying clubs and you progress through 14 ages to ultimately end with laser robots.
Most other RTS games tend to exist within one era.
And honestly the novelty of progressing from sticks and mud to nuclear bombers is tons of fun. The games take forever though. Not quite as long as civilization, but you'll still probably take most of the evening.
And this game leans into goofy. Some of the sound effects are corny. There's lots of over-the-top unit attacks. You can make priests that summon tornadoes and earthquakes. I don't think this game takes itself too seriously, which can be a good time.

I put many hours into this game as a kid whenever I got tired of Age of Empires.

Hat mir besser gefallen als die Age of Empires Reihe dadurch, dass hier viel mehr Zeitalter abgedeckt wurden. Das war sehr ambitioniert, hat aber trotzdem Spaß gemacht.

Empire Earth is propably the only one RTS game I truly appreciate.

It looks and sounds still pretty good and plays really smoothly in all aspects.

But the selling point of this is the appeal to guide your little civilization from the stone age all the way to the space age.

This was such a cool concept and it was actually heartwarming to see the continous rise and grow of everything you have built and nurtured here.

This was always the true appeal of Empire Earth for me.
The campaigns were great sure, but nothing could be beaten by just starting a random match aganst whoever and simply see how much ages you could plow your people through this time. That was oddly satisfying.

Even if you are not into RTS at all (like me) still give this a shot if you have a thing for the history of the human race.

Chances are that you will not regret it :D
You can get Empire Earth on GOG ^-^

The best RTS ever made hands down.
