A very unique take on the Far Cry franchise, not a bad game.
One of my top epic games. Completed it 3 times
I personally loved having to craft your own weapons during combat, it really makes this game stand out compared to others and made you pay more attention to enemy placement and where you had thrown your spears. The problem with this game is that it makes the stealth extremely easy. If you unlock the ability to let the owl do takedowns every single camp becomes a cakewalk with a strong companion like the saber cat.
The fact that none of the dialogue is in english also makes the story hard to follow even though there are subtitles. Story is also very mediocre, the main character has even less personality than the other main characters in this series and it just ends up making the story more bland than it already was.

I've heard many people hating on this game and i don't get why, its a good game with a theme that's rarely used, so the more unique the better.
Far Cry Primal is set in 10.000BC, around the Carpathian Mountains which is a nice touch for me as a Romanian. There's not many games based on prehistoric times, and i liked it a lot, it was refreshing to see and play.
I think Ubisoft did the most that could've been done with the story, im glad that they used a fictional language called "Wenja" and that the game wasn't in english.
The gameplay was fun, everything was primitive and even tho it was still a Far Cry at base, it was done in a way that it didn't feel like it was just another Far Cry, this time it felt different.
Taming beasts, having them as your pets and then riding them was very nice (sabertooths, mammoths, bears).
Exploring the map was engaging and the sorroundings were beautiful.
All in all, I think this is an underrated game and its a cool experience.

Um jogo extremamente subestimado e injustiçado, Far cry primal só perde pro 4 que é o melhor da franquia e ainda assim não fica tão atrás, uma proposta diferente realizada com maestria, ambientação, efeitos sonoros, e mecânicas muito boas e funcionais, a história é somente um background pra trazer o que brilha de fato: a gameplay.

This is not some "underrated masterpiece" it's a boring slog that brought me zero enjoyment over the hours I played it, I absolutely cannot see myself finishing it.

Uma premissa interessante e bem única, tem várias qualidades, mas tem como defeito ser um tanto repetitivo, mas no geral ainda é um jogo decente.

"FC: Primal" me pareció, cuanto menos, genérico. Es aburrido y repetitivo. No hay mucho más que agregar. Sí, celebramos que Ubisoft tome riesgos creativos a la hora de hacer este tipo de juegos, pero no cuesta nada mimarlo un poco y darle personalidad.
Far Cry Primal has a cool premise – ditch the guns and go full caveman! You're taming beasts, fighting rival tribes, and exploring a wild prehistoric world. The setting feels fresh for Far Cry, and the animal hunting is really fun. However, it gets a bit repetitive after a while, the story's weak, and honestly, I missed my guns a little. Still, if you want a unique Far Cry experience with a focus on survival and beast-mastering, it's worth checking out.

Interesting concept but falls short and fails in a lot of areas, mainly in the fact that its a far cry game if this was its own world and idea it might have worked, but its made as a far cry game so it has to adhere to that series rules and gameplay. i do not recommend this one if you want to play a far cry game from this generation of consoles just play far cry 4
