A perplexing homage to the famous film series, Crossroads is a menagerie of Fast & Furious ideas that feels slapped together with duct tape and executed with multiple underutilized gameplay ideas. While the story is fun, actually playing Crossroads devolves into confusion far too frequently.

I honestly don't think this is as bad as people say. Maybe that comes from being blinded as i am a massive fan of the films, but i think this could have been a good game if they had focused up and polished it.
I always liked the idea of mission based driving games, Driver: San Fransico is one of my favorite games ever. I think there are some really fun missions in this. The one that is a homage to the vault heist as you tow a giant wrecking ball, outrunning a sandstorm or the great final one where you chase a freaking giant missile.
Those missions are admittedly a minority amongst the more generic chases, races and especially dull drive from point A to B ones. If it had focused entirely on the more over the top set-piece levels and really polished them up i think it would have worked much better.
It certainly is a much better game than Showdown, but i do hope before the series ends we get a genuinely good game because come the fuck on, it shouldn't be that hard to make a game out of these films. Doesn't even have to be great. Gimmie a 7/10 F&F, i am not greedy. Family deserves better.

This is a 4 and a half hour-ish long game and it's taken me 2 weeks to complete because fuck me, this game is bad.
I don't think I have ever had this little amount of fun playing a game ever... nevermind I've played Overwatch 2 but this is a close second. Actually no, even THAT game can be fun for brief moments.
Everything about this game, is horrible.
The gameplay is atrocious with the cars handling horribly and every single mission just being a slight variation of a different one.
The story is nonsensical with them constantly jumping between plot points and being filled with god-awful writing.
The voice acting is mid.
the game itself looks.... fine. although the character models are animated horribly.
The only parts that get close to being entertaining are the parts where you're actually doing Fast and Furious shit instead of just spending 10 minutes driving from point A to point B and EVEN THEN only a quarter of those sections are close to fun.
This game just drains you when you play it. again. 2 weeks, to finish a 4 and a half hour game because I just couldn't bring myself to play more than 1 or 2 missions at a time.
Who the actual fuck thought this was okay to not only greenlight, but to release? because I don't think they're okay mentally or someone has to have some serious dirt on them.
God damn.

Genuinely one of the worst games I've played but share play with a friend completely makes this an amazing experience. Having the game completely go ape shit with its camera or having cars fly across the map when I lightly touched them brought me endless joy. Horrible game but it's also kind of a masterpiece.
