It's fun! That's probably the most I can say about this one. I adore Gladio as I do the rest of the boys, so I enjoyed the extra time with him. I really like how he plays mechanically, and the final boss and optional boss are both engaging, testing your understanding of how combat has worked thus far and rewarding you accordingly. It's short, and it's not very complex- especially compared to the other FFXV DLC episodes- but it's not bad by any means. I don't know if it justifies a purchase, but it is enjoyable for a piece of add-on content, hindered mainly by the fact that it is in fact optional, paid content. The gratuitous amount of Gladio ass shots are pretty fucking worth it though, I'd say.

Muito bom e curtinho, o combate é bom e a luta final é boa...

Bem divertidinha
Só é curta demais
A OST é foda

El mas flojo de los DLC's, el combate esta bien y ya.

Pretty meh in terms of content mostly just played to see what happened in between his departure story wise really cool love my beef cake bro.

Solid DLC. Felt I got my $5 worth. Replayability with score mode and final chapter though I might not come back to it, good to know it is there. Like that it explains a lot more about the world and Gladiolus as well as Cor.

Difficulty Played: Normal

the story's pretty inconsequential (Gladio leaves the party for a chapter to get stronger, he goes to a cave of trials and does that) but Gladio's combat is really good. The bonus boss against Cor is a particular highlight.

Very linear, sort, and not all that interesting.

this cover image is really fucking funny

Un peu court et répétitif, frame rate un peu aux fraises parfois

Mais un combat de boss excellent et qui m'a donné un vrai challenge et je le retiendrais surtout pour ça, ce DLC.

Fun dlc. More like a boss rush but it’s fun to play as gladio. Not too much story here but glad they explained how he got the scar. Beat it in like an hour but I got to talk to my girlfriend about Final Fantasy while playing so it was memorable.

not bad. short, to the point, explains where Gladio went off to that one time. pretty good boss fight, good to spend time with Cor.

Kinda right in the middle for the FF15 DLC, in that I appreciate how straightforward everything is (the plot, the combat style, etc.) but somehow it still has some bullshit that is a little irritating. You spam the pillars to get through encounters easily, it still feels a little too short, & the final fight that is the big draw of the DLC seems a little more difficult than I would have expected for such a short add-on. Well, I say difficult, with the amount of Potions I was picking up it ended up being more of a war of attrition of me whittling down his health bar & just scarfing down them Potions (though I guess that could be chalked up to the difficulty I picked). Not as bad as Ignis, not as good as Ardyn.

Gameplay was pretty fun to play around with. Loved parrying attacks at the right time to get the damage multiplier to its highest, and unleashing Gladio's Glaive Art for maximum damage. Had some satisfying bosses to do this to.
Also had fun challenges like the time trial and fighting against Cor.

Definitely the weakest Episode when it comes to writing/character, since Gladio's doubt in protecting Noctis is barely even explored or hinted at in the base game.

Probably the weakest expansion of the game but it's still fun.
The story is kind of dull and the level design pretty boring, but I enjoyed the gameplay a lot.

It's nothing extraordinary, just a short little story that gives some context to Gladiolus, and a cool boss fight.

Final Rating: "Average" ~ 5/10.

FF 15: Episode Gigachad
The best thing with FF15's combats. The battle with Blademaster is awesome.

Insufferable gym bro

But damn he's handsome

Now I remember why I didn't bother finishing this lol. By no means a bad dlc, just a pretty forgettable one. The gameplay was fun and nice to look at; but just like the original game it's extremely easy. I beat the whole thing in only an hour on Normal difficulty. The story was also underwhelming. The premise of it was interesting enough and I get what they were going for with Gladio's development; but in execution it felt very underdeveloped and unnecessary. Like I said this DLC is not bad, but it's just so vastly overshadowed by Episodes Prompto and Ignis in pretty much every way.

gladio の dlc is probably the weakest one of the bunch the mechanics are really similar to the base game with the addition of some kind of nuance due to you actually playing as a big dicked beefy man with a huge sword not the one in his pants I meant the weapon am I clear enough good so as I was saying the main incipit is why the fuck is gladio actually injured when he returns back to the bunch and this is his part of the story

sure there's not a lot of implications here and the whole dlc is as straightforward as it gets you go in with the daddy from the main game trying to prove your might to the dead spirit of a great warrior while smashing pillars into enemies I wish that were me sorry who said that

so yeah the whole dlc IS this basic . mind you the final boss was for some reason a huge difficulty spike but it made beating that bitch actually better so I'm fine with that and the ost was definitely a huge difference from the base game because my god I was NOT expecting that metal theme

whatever all in all nice addition just because more gladio content is good gladio content if you got e hentai recommendations my discord is

The weaker of the FFXV DLC. Its linear and really isnt that interesting. Also pretty short but i liked the challenge the fights provided.

(Review from Apr 2022) Very short DLC pack but fun! You can beat this in an hour or so and then there’s some extra challenges and a score arcade style mode to beat. Generally found it quite doable and enjoyable: kind of reminded me of the atmosphere of Diablo, the gameplay of classic Assassin’s Creed mixed with a Warriors game. Good blend!

AWESOME, no idea why the reviews are so low
great combat, great character development for gladio, whole arena looks beautiful, great enemy designs and an insane final boss, very short DLC but doesn't overstay its welcome and is so much fun

Escuchame es super tontorron pero las hostias de Gladiolus son la polla

Probably my least favorite XV dlc but I still enjoyed it and it does wonders for Gladio's character and that final battle was awesome.

I can't believe this isn't in the base game.
I can't believe this is one hour long.
I can't believe they charged money for this.
I can't believe this and the train scene are all of Gladio's character.

I'm here to kill Gilgamesh, that's my mission. Looks like Gilgamesh has been waiting for us....
I only know one thing: I want to kill Gilgamesh. I need to. It's not a hope, or a dream, it's like a hunger, a thirst.
This is the shrine of Gilgamesh. He's here, we just have to hunt him down.
The darkness is so thick I can taste it... this is it, no doubt.
Gilgamesh......
We are here to kill Gilgamesh......

This is the first of three reviews for the FFXV DLCs and where better to start then with Gladio. Gladiolus’s DLC takes place after he leaves the party. To keep this review spoiler-free I’ll just say that Gladio is taking a trial to become a better Kingsguard and Cor is there with him. A common theme with these DLCs is excellent writing and character development, as each DLC tells a story that glances into the life and journey of each of Noctis’s companions, while also building upon the lore and stories of other characters along Noctis’s journey. Gladio’s DLC is combat focused and with emphasis on going through each “stage” of his dungeon as fast as possible. This might seem like you won’t get as much plot and character development but this style of gameplay fits perfectly for Gladio and Cor’s way of explaining things. As Cor and Gladio frequently chat about the trials, Noctis, etc etc. Gladio’s combat is slower than Noctis’s, but has a focus on parrying and attacking at the right time to build up Rage, which increases Gladio’s damage output, allowing him to dish out big damage with his Glaive Arts. Gladio’s combat system plays very differently from the entire party, so he’s a really fun character to play. This DLC goes very hard, did enjoy.
