Game & Watch Gallery 2 offers a delightful dose of nostalgia, bringing back the charm of classic Game & Watch handhelds. While the included games – Parachute, Helmet, Chef, Vermin, and Donkey Kong – may appear simplistic, they're surprisingly addictive. The addition of modern modes featuring beloved Nintendo characters adds a fresh twist. If you're seeking a fun, retro-flavored experience, this collection delivers.

Parachute and Helmet are still incredible, great to play on my 20 minute train commute

Another fun game and watch gallery game!

Holy shit, this took me by suprise!

I love game and watch gallery 2. This is a charming g&w collection of remakes, but it's a good one. 4 of the 5 games here are really good and 2 of those are addicting for me. And there's also donkey kong there wtf.

Parachutes and hammer are great. When I boot up the game, I always give them a shot. But the real talk is on verminator (I think it's called like that). I despise de remake, however the old one is still here and it's great. It's so simple and that's why i like it.

But chef man. CHEF. I just can't stop playing this one. It's way more deep than I thought initially. That you can turn around, Yoshi being able to eat de food, the strategies that you can apply during the moment to moment gameplay. I love it, as well as the rest of the collection.

It's so good that I'm going to keep playing it. Because every time I boot up my 3ds, I'm going to play this game for sure. I can actually say the meme line, it's a hidden gem.

High 8/10

More of the same. Its a neat and fun novelty item but the games are still so basic and boring that I couldn't imagine dumping a lot of time into it. Not bad though

Version japonesa, no lo he tocado todavia

For as expansive as these re-imagined G&W versions of the originals try to be, I think those original black and white characters have far more personality than just sticking a Mario on it.

The "original" game and watch option on here does not feel as accurate without seeing the fade in slots where a character can move.

These seem like an interesting experiment in archiving this part of Nintendo's history, but I don't this worked out the way they wanted it to.

Why did I buy this with my money?

Didn't have as much fun with this one but it's still pretty enjoyable.
1. Helmet
2. Parachute
3. Vermin
4. Chef
5. Donkey Kong

Hmm. I feel like I enjoyed this one slightly less than the first one. Parachute and Vermin were probably my favorite. Hammers/Helmet was fine. Donkey Kong was a little meh and I genuinely couldn't figure out how to play Chef. But the package was nice and so was the presentation.

This is the best Game & Watch Gallery game in my opinion. Some of the mini games are incredibly addicting.

Pros: The same format from Game & Watch Gallery 1, comes five more Game & Watch titles, complete with both their Classic and Modern variations! This time, in COLOR!! (well, outside of Japan anyway, the game was delayed an entire year to launch with the Game Boy Color in the west). Games included are Donkey Kong, Helmet, Vermin, Chef, and Parachute! Also unlockable game Ball, which has multiple unlockable Modern versions where you play as different Mario characters. Each game is well made enough, and the modern versions add some fun new spice to them. My favorites being Chef, where you cook meals as princess Peach to feed an endless supply of Yoshis! It's cute. And Helmet has a really quick energy to collecting coins, but fill your pockets too much and you become heavy, making your movement slower, and harder to dodge falling debris... but if you can still make it out the door, your points will be multiplied ever so much more! It's a fun risk/reward that I really enjoy. The other games, eeeeeh, they're fine, just fine. It's nice to have Donkey Kong in there anyhow, where the modern version is a neat update using the same characters.

Cons: The games, in total, I don't feel are quite as enjoyable as they are in the other G&W Gallery titles. Simply just that, not as fun as the others.

What it means to me: This was my first Game Boy Color game! I did have a Game Boy Color prior to getting this game, and played my regular GB collection of games on it, but it was Game & Watch Gallery 2 that showed me the world of color on a Nintendo handheld for the very first time, and I recall vividly playing modern Parachute on the car ride home from Toys-R-Us, stunned at the blue skies, colorful Mushroom Kingdom castle in the background, and all the little characters of different hues falling into my boat. Sure was modern!

Outra boa coletânea! Aqui os devs se deram mais liberdade criativa na hora de fazer as reimaginações modernas e resultou nuns minigames bem bacanudos!

Game & Watch games is one of the most simple games you can get, yet its so so addicting. This gallery has a few unlockable things in addition to just the casual gameplay of the original Game & Watch games. It's great fun.

Love this collection. Chef was always my favorite as a kid.
