Alright roguelike. It can be fun with friends but I don't find myself ever coming back to it without someone else pulling me back in. Its just not unique enough. Its very inoffensive.

Bem maneiro, mas não meu roguelike favorito

I wish the stages and enemies were more varied.

Chinese Borderlands roguelike

fun but janky movement makes it a lot less fun than it could be

3 year old game with only 4 stages what a disappointment. Instead of adding more stages the devs decided to release 2 DLC which contained like 6 new weapons and a couple of new characters but 0, ZERO new stages WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL.

20$ game for 3 hours of content (maybe longer if you're really bad or unlucky with weapons).

unlocking new characters isn't even satisfying either because most of them aren't all that great. All you need is a good rng gun and its ggs.

I don't recommend it for 20$. Shit, I got the game for 15$ and I still feel like it wasn't worth it.

Enjoyable, lots of instant gratification. Much more fun with friends.

my gf bought this for me, and the only times i play it are with her and usually 1 or 2 other people, and it's honestly very fun for a casual discord hangout situation. i can't see myself getting super deep into solo runs or anything, but it's a real great co-op vibing sort of thing

Really fun rougelite FPS to play with friends, though when playing solo some of the issues of this game get laid bare. Scrolls can be a bit boring in how they boost your abilities, mostly just being stat boosts you get outright or if you do something simple. Ascensions are pretty simple too, but their boosts are often large enough to see the difference in cooldown, damage, or your other stats. I've liked playing all of the characters the game offers so far, their unique abilities end up having you play very differently and focus on different weapon types per character. Bosses are OK, most are simple fights where you can learn their attacks, while others have a gimmick to their fights, and one is a DPS CHECK (this alone has killed so many of my runs).

Now that the game is out of Early Access there's so much more to do compared to when I started playing years ago. The new Spiritual Assault gamemode is really fun, and there's more bosses and paths to take. If you are willing to learn common synergies and have a group to play it with. It's very hard the further you get into a run, and it can feel frustrating when you get one-tapped by an attack that just barely clipped you, which is why I say that the game feels less frustrating when played as a group.

Gunfire Reborn is an okay game that doesn’t do too much different than the other roguelikes besides the part that it’s an FPS. The game has some fun moments, like its gun variety which is very good and has multiple guns that can fit different playstyles, but has a lot to be desired. One pretty boring thing is the scrolls u can get throughout each run. Most of these scrolls just feel like stat boosts and u can’t see them working either which makes u feel like nothing happened. The few scrolls that make you feel their impact are nice though such as giving your dash three charges. The levels are also pretty boring as after you do a couple of runs, you’ve kinda seen everything. These low points make Gunfire Reborn something you feel bad about cause it could’ve been a lot better. The gunplay is nice and the abilities add a fun mix, but with everything in the game, I only wished they made it better.

Didn't get very far in this one, but the poor performance, lack of polish, and floaty movement really hindered my ability to enjoy it. It's a shame that an interesting FPS roguelike is hard to get to underneath all the other stuff.

It’s alright

It's okay, I guess. Fun for the first few hours if you can find friends to play it with, but after then it quickly gets stale. Play Risk of Rain 2 instead

Repetitivo mas eh legalzinho ate

Furry Borderlands meets rouge-lite gameplay, insanely fun but only with a group. Something I won't replay unless partied up.

What a fucking mess. How does a shooter with superpowered furries control so rigidly? My shots don't land half the time because the enemies jitter around like they've got Parkinson's. The upgrades over time went from "+40% Fire DMG" to whatever the fuck this is. Synergies are conveyed so poorly that you can be cleaning house with a character that should logically die to a gust of wind, but get oneshot with a build you were convinced is godly. The item descriptions are so incomprehensible that you have to check the Wiki to see what they actually do. The boss fights are nearly all inexcusable garbage, I can't believe Wind God ever passed Q&A let alone was kept in the game in its current form. The environments are so plain you'd be forgiven for thinking you're playing an alpha version. There's such a strong feeling of complexity creep and lack of direction to the whole thing. What's that? Why do I have 200 hours in it? That's a great question,

Really fun fps roguelite to play alone and with friends. The gameplay loop is fun and it's quite easier than other roguelites/roguelikes so you can have some brain off runs

the game feels like crap to play sometimes and it heated up my computer for no discernible reason, but the character design is cute and the fact it's multiplayer bumps it up a half star

also this game is feature creeped to hell and back. no way in hell you're telling me people memorized the convoluted elemental system

Coollll gameee , Filled wit Chill vibes

a fun roguelike shooter with different weapons, characters with unique abilities and such. i like how customizable the builds can be with the perks you find along your playthrough.

very recommended specially if you have friends to play!

I feel like im supposed to like it, but its lowkey cheeks

For a roguelike that is also an fps this is actually really solid, the movement is kinda slow and floaty, but you get used to it pretty quick, its also not as hard as most other roguelites, its nothing really mind blowing but the content that excists is really solid

Brief.
Progression wise, I have completed many levels of "Reincarnation" and most character talent trees, including DLC.

While I can't say I hate Gunfire Reborn, I don't recommend it heavily for roguelikes or co-op first person shooters. Why?

1. I don't find the active gameplay incredibly engaging, even when you get a crazy combo of scrolls or weapons and whatnot. There is no impact or punchiness in the sound or visual design in the game that really make me feel like I am doing anything more than if I was playing a clicker game.

2. Tying into 1, I do personally love when I become incredibly powerful stats-wise in roguelikes, where each of my attacks do gargantuan numbers, but it feels wholly unsatisfying in Gunfire Reborn, and also seems to happen too often. It never feels special.

3. There's a lack of variability in how the game is played, even with enemies with modifiers and such.

I could chalk it up to saying the game is "too easy," but that isn't true, I still get challenged by this game. I think it just all has to do with presentation. The playable characters are very cute, but everything in this game just lacks punch, it's as animated and intriguing as a patch of stagnant water.

its good and fun and i return to it occasionally but nothing mind blowing
