fantastic cosmetics, new gamemodes, and features.

middling launch but it was pretty bug-free and the post launch support was the best yet

Infection is... fine. It's not the strongest iteration of the "Zombies" concept, I really didn't play it unless the weekly goals required it. The points are done really weirdly, and I'm still not sure how I feel about the zombie speed. The battle pass was okay, it had some cool coatings (though their duplicate entries for each weapon or armor core felt like obvious filler), and ended with a weapon model, which is nice. However, some of the week-long events were really good this season and had better rewards than the battle pass itself! This season easily added more maps than any other up to this point, and Forge only gets better and better as time goes on. @habitablestorm3 is doing some crazy stuff in there!

The single best thing to happen this season is Squad Battle, an 8v8 mode using legacy maps. It's definitely attracting a more hardcore audience, and it's not uncommon for one team to obliterate the other, but 8-a-side just feels better than 12v12, and these old maps are so well balanced. I had a great time even if I was getting slaughtered!

It's been a perfectly serviceable season, though the lack of cross-core cosmetics has led to a LOT of bloat since a single coating can be unlocked for each armor, and we've got 8 of those now. Really hoping cross-core isn't a pipe dream and actually happens this year!

This is a pretty awesome season so far. The content cadence has been great, with events and meaningful playlist updates being made quite regularly. Infection made a triumphant return with interesting tweaks to its base mode. New maps, both from Forge creators and 343i have largely been great. "Squad Battle" 8v8 is a resounding success... this is some of the most fun I have had playing Halo Infinite since launch. If you ever wondered if adding Infinite's sandbox to Rat's Nest and Valhalla would be awesome, the answer is "yes." Troublesome bugs have been quashed with this season, including settings resets. However, de-sync remains an issue. Other complaints include the slow rollout of "cross-core" cosmetics, the banshee continuing to feel like a papier-mâché plane (desperately needs a defensive and offensive buff), and missing modes (griffball, assault, etc).

Upon completing the S4 battlepass, I was at the Gold Cadet Grade III Career Rank. The career system is a welcomed addition to Halo Infinite. The custom games browser is also a reliable source of a great time. I aim to continue to play this season, working towards platinum career tier, and am eager to see "Husky Raid" return as 343i promised. The new live service leadership has Halo going in the right direction.

Definitely something that the game needed for a very long time. Infection is a ton of fun just as it was in all the previous installments especially if you got a group to run it with.

Finally starting to heat up with Infection, more maps and game modes, and a slightly redesigned UI. It's good to see Infinite finally find its footing after all this time.

battlepass was ok
new weapon models are cool but all the best ones were in the shop
events were mid
but I will say tenrai 3 actually tried to have the event feel themed with that cool custom playlist filled with community made maps
too bad the ninja game modes were not fun at all
oh and the rewards for cybershow down 2 were alright plus it introduced husky raid WHICH IS SO MUCH FUN
career progression is kinda underwhelming
forest is awesome
scar is ok
hazmat armor core is kinda neat
infection is pretty well done
and the quantum translocator is pretty dope
oh and I wanna point out the 0 story cutscenes cause they cut all that last second

Very strong in terms of content and theme. Sad the story had to be cut and there's still some performance issues and desync but overall a great season, with season 5 looking to finally bring this game to it's fullest potential

Infection itself is a blast for sure, but the addition of 8v8 Squad Battle on classic maps like Valhalla, Rat's Nest, and Last Resort, as well as some great cosmetics, makes Season 4 the best Infinite's multiplayer has been since it first launched.

Season 3 of Halo Infinite was when I finally felt like the game was going somewhere and gaining some semblance of momentum again. On that note, Season 4 is a complete let-down.

I don't care for the Hazmat aesthetic or for the majority of the new shop items added, and if you're like me and were never a fan of Infection in the first place; this will feel like a more bare-bones Season 3.

Not to mention that Unyshek decided to wait until the absolute last minute before Season 4 released to tweet about all multiplayer cutscenes being cut, essentially putting the multiplayer's story on hold, AGAIN.
