Kingdom Hearts 1: 7/10
Kingdom Hearts 2: 8/10
I aint playing the rest cause I have better things to do.

Bought this entire collection in preparation for KH3's release back in the day.

For someone who wants to jump in and see what the KH series is all about, there really is no better way to start - it includes pretty much everything you need. Lots of bang for your buck here!

This is the specific version of Kingdom Hearts I have, I love the game and 1000% recommend it. I am definitely biased since I’ve had this game series as a major interest for years, probably about 4 years now. Theres definitely a few games that I didn’t enjoy such as the ReCoM but then theres the absolute masterpiece that is KHII.

Hoo boy. I heard you liked compilation titles so we put a compilation title of compilation titles and bundled it with a compilation title. This basically gets you the entirety of kingdom hearts pre-KH3 and frankly that's an astounding deal. If anything, it's too much. When all of the series is laid out right in front of you, it makes it incredibly easy to want to binge-play the whole thing as soon as possible, and I can say from personal experience that that is not a good way to enjoy the Kingdom Hearts series. If you have the willpower to pace yourself through the content in here, you have one of the best deals in RPG gaming. If you don't you have burnout on 2 discs. Beware.

Love this series. Quick Review:

KH1:Gameplay aged like cheese, but the story is fun and simple. One of my favorites in the series.

CoM: Fuck that gameplay but Namine is a queen.

KH2: My favorite in the series even though every time I come back I forget how to play that shit. Fantastic conclusion, a great intro to Roxas, just plain lovely.

358/2: That shit sad. Love Xion

BBS: Loved the new characters, though Terra had to grow on me, and I love the story. Armor fight can fuck itself.

Re:Coded: I mean it's kinda cute. I live for the SoRiku and Soroku moments ig. It's fun.

DDD: Shit ass story. I live for Venso, Soroku, and Soriku though, so points for that. I do actually really like the gameplay here.

2.8: Game that made me love Aqua and everything she is.

Backcover: Ya'll hear something?

They somehow managed to make DDD playable by human beings with two hands compared to the 3DS, that's a five star feat on its own.

-Kingdom Hearts Final Mix-
What is Final Fantasy and Disney made a game thats amazing and I love it so much. Replaying the game again felt like a breath of fresh air, this truly is one of my favourite series of all time.

-Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories-
I am not a fan of the gameplay plain and simple, not to mention it's just KH1 gameplay with a card mechanic shoved in. This game would've been vastly better if it was similar to an RPG but still used the cards, besides from that the characters are great and lovable, even the story is great.

-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days-
With this just being some of the cutscenes updated to HD, it lacks depth when it decides to just scroll text saying what happens, but when it does decide to show the cutscenes they really are great, the relationship between Roxas, Axel and Xion is one of the best.

-Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix-
My favourite game on the PS2, I can vividly remember playing this game over and over for months, everything about it is improved and better than 1, a perfect game in the perfect series. This game was already perfect enough, and then they had even more content? Crazy. More bosses, harder challenges, they just keep improving on everything. All-time favourite in the series.

-Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix-
This was pretty ambitous game, 3 full story modes plus 2 secret chapters, that and including all the collectibles to do thats hundreds of hours of content. Ventus, Aqua and Terra's storys are all really enjoyable and fun to play, this game is a great addition to the series.

-Kingdom Hearts Re:coded-
Simliar to 358/2 Days, they just took some of the cutscenes and made them HD, again I feel like this could of been done better though.

-Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage-
A real short look at what Aqua has been going through for what. 10 years? Pretty much a tech demo for 3 but hey it's fun.

-Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD-
The Dream Eaters mechanic took a bit of time to get used to, to the point that I can't stand the theme anymore. But the new worlds and overall story is really interesting and as charming as ever.

-Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover-
I never managed to play much of the phone game, but this movie explaining some of the plot was entertaining, wish they would do the rest of the phone games plots.

i think i have been stockholmed into liking these games

i've played all of these games but want to do it all in a row soon :^))

I can think of this as a "whole experience" before KH III and a gathering of the 3 HD Remixes. Overall it was really hyping alright, not gonna lie. That is until I finished KH III and being narratively disappointed by the franchise direction.

joa gute spiele außer dream drop distance...

kh1: neat, but weirdly hard
kh2: fantastic
khbbs: i hate bbs except for ven and aqua <3
khddd: my favorite i love this game i love sora
kh.2bbs: ehhh
kh358/2: made me sob

Only 2-3 games out of the whole compilation are even worth playing, and the other's aren't even worth watching the cutscenes for since the KH story is a mess to begin with.

I've played all of them. Absolutely perfect, dream drop distance is my favourite.

Has pretty much all the kingdom hearts games on it. Really good value

Main review:

The Story so far is a great collection of (nearly) all the kingdom hearts game with a nice overall presentation of all the games with a nice main menu that allows you to select between the different games on the 2 disc's provided within this copy (if you have the physical copy, I assume for the digital copy they combine the menus but idk, someone let me know if for the digital version they just have all the games in one menu.)
The games each have their beautiful themes before selecting them, as well as have a nice reward for completing each of them... that being PS4 themes for you PS4, which is really cool.
The caviot is 3 of these entries are not games as they are essentially cutscene movies made to sum up the games that weren't included within this package fully. These being:

1. 358/2 Days
2. RECODED
3. X Union (Movie X BackCover)

Such as shame, as 358/2 days is highly regarded, and not including said above games was a real shame.

The package overall is a great deal as you get a fun ride of games and... boring movies to at the very least have a nice package to go along with kingdom hearts 3.
However if you're looking for a more modern package, get ALL-IN-ONE as it features all kingdom hearts games within this package and includes 3 and Melody of Memory.

Game reviews:
Kingdom Hearts HD- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5- an amazing fun game, with a good story and fun gameplay, and one of the hardest final bosses in my lifetime of playing games.

Chain of Memories HD- ⭐⭐/5- Absolute borefest reusing assets from kingdom hearts 1, awful combat, yet a good story with good new interesting characters. Still what an awful borefest.

358/2 Days - ⭐/5 - I mean the cutscenes are fine, but this is nearly 3 hours long, and the story is very interesting and ties up what happens in Kingdom hearts 2 at the beginning however why not just do what you did for Rechain of Memories and just port the ds version, give it a graphics overhaul, and just include cutscenes, at least I won't get bored watching it. "playing" this is equivalent to watching it on youtube, but feels worse because the text parts you have to interact. Such a waste of time, play the ds version.

Kingdom Hearts 2- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 - Beautiful game that ties up a lot of loose ends, introducing an expansive new arsenal of abilities and combat that make this such an improvement over the first. And honestly a satisfying conclusion for those who hate what come after. Amazing game and soundtrack.

Kingdom hearts Birth By Sleep: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5: Great Story and characters in an amazing prequel that ends very somber, but is a great game that introduces you to 3 amazing characters in Tera, Aqua, and Ventus. Great game, only thing is it's repetitive use of locations though it is a psp game so makes sense.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐- fun gameplay, with a stupid story that is essentially stalling before kingdom hearts 3 happens. Yet still very fun, and awesome to play with Sora and Riku individually. Also introduces characters from the World ends with you.

Kingdom Hearts Recoded: 0/5: Atleast 358/2 days was interesting, this feels like a game you don't even have to play considering how it's barely acknowledged by the games themselves, only really being referenced in Melody of Memory.

Birth By Sleep 0.2 A fragmentary Passage-⭐⭐⭐⭐/5- a beautiful tech demo that honestly looks better than kingdom hearts 3. With a story that ties up a loose end in Kingdom hearts 1. Worth it in the package.

X Back Cover- A movie that takes place during X Union, an app game that essentially explains how the Keyblade war happens, and introduces new characters like Master of Masters, Luxu, and other characters. This will most likely be further expanded upon in Kingdom Hearts 4, even though it just complicates things even more... so yayyyyy.

i got this for 17 bucks and i cannot be more satisfied
