this game was fucking TOUGH. once you hit the jungle area i swear the difficulty spikes to ludicrous levels, drops at the beginning of the catacombs area, and then spikes AGAIN the next level and the boss is fucking ridiculous and very rng based. It is no wonder the powerups/gems system from the mobile ports was brought into the steam version and seemingly ONLY for this game. also its good so??? lol
A quality IOS tower-defense game experience. A perfect game to pass time on your iPhone or iPad when you need one. The games are quick, short, fun, and mentally-stimulating. Battle-Mechas are OP!
One of the best mobile games I've ever played, unlike bloons placing the towers only on the given places makes it more strategic and fun I think.

Not every enemy design in this is awful, but a lot of them are, and the good ones far from redeem anything about this version of Kingdom Rush. The final boss’s entire gimmick is probably the most annoying mechanic ever employed in a tower defense game.
Pior que o original. As torres tem menos carisma, com exceção a evolução de Tremor do bombardeiro. E a adição dos cristais como moeda secundária dá um aspecto de jogo mobile ridículo. Mas pelo menos os devs perceberam e retiraram dos jogos seguintes.
Plays great, looks great, and has a lot of charm (even if some of the jokes are a little dated now).
The inclusion of boss battles on some stages was really great, since I didn't think a TD game like this could get me so tense, especially if you're going for that perfect score.
Having playable hero characters was really cool too, though I found that there was far too many of them. It would have been more optimal to have less, but you could develop them further.
The only gripe I had with the game was the last boss, since you had to cheese it due to the extremely frustrating tactics it uses.
Not much else to say, it's a legendary tower defense series at this point.

Loved this game much like the original and if you enjoyed the first then you certainly won't want to miss this one! It's a lot of great fun and I've been finding myself spending hours completing not only the normal campaign, but all the extra ones and trying to do them at increasingly difficult levels too, which is rare for me unless it's that entertaining.
Very fun art and funny achievements too make this a blast. I recommend it highly to anyone who loved Tower Defence games.

I love tower defence games and I played quite a few. This is my first time playing a Kingdom Rush game and I’m shocked by how tough Frontiers is. Changing the difficulty from normal to casual doesn’t help much either. It’s not the kind of fun challenge too. It started nicely but quickly ramped things up. I’m bowing out of this for my sanity. It’s a very typical tower defence game. So it’s not like much is missed by not playing Frontiers unless you’re a hardcore fan looking for challenge.

Building 3-4 necrs and you deadass have got an army.
Archers just melting enemies
Assassins could insta kill crabs
2) heroes now are more interesting. Instead of leveling them up in every level, they now have a global lvl and more abilities.
3) More interesting and fucking annoying enemies. fuck you crabs and nagas
Overall great game, a great successor of KR. now it's time for origins

Where's the fast-forward button? What a horrible omission. Quit early on.
I think this one is my favorite KR game. Frontiers has the best towers and heroes in the series by a long mile. And while some enemies can be annoying to deal with, the game feels consistently challenging but also fair. Great elite stages as well.

The browser versions of kingdom rush were AMAZING and all of the downloadable version CLEARLY ramp up the difficulty to get you to buy consumables. It's frustrating as fuck
