Knotwords is a great little puzzle game that has kept me coming back each month. It's really simple to understand, and each puzzle can take anywhere from 2-15 minutes, depending on the difficulty/complexity. I sometimes wish there was a little more variety in the puzzle types, as it can get a little old after completing a few puzzles in a row, but it's fun if you're looking for something quick and casual.

A clever mix of crossword, sudoku and more abstract word game. Knotwords challenges your understanding of general English word structure rather than your knowledge of specific terms and definitions.

Still maintaining my launch streak on the Daily Classic.

Esperando surgir um Zach Gage brasileiro pra adaptar isso pra gente.

Amazingly clever and delightfully crafted mash up of Wordle/Sudoku/Crosswords. Zach Gage continues to delight with his reinventions of classic game genres and mechanics. The attention to detail with the animations, control options and sound effects are phenomenal.

I played it pretty intensely every day for a couple of weeks but fell off pretty hard all of a sudden — but having trouble pinpointing exactly why. I basically didn't feel as compelled to play every day like I do with Wordle or a Crossword — maybe I'm already playing too many similar things each day, but I did also start to feel like the puzzles and words felt very similar each day.

Possibly an artifact of algorithmic puzzle generation? Although not sure how exactly the puzzles are made for all the different modes.

Don't be tricked into thinking this is another Wordle clone, it's more like a crossword where you don't need to know old people newspaper trivia. Ends up turning crosswords into sudoku, really great to be able to pull up on your phone whenever you want.

As is the case for me with many of Zach Gage's games, played this constantly for a long couple of months, then fell off if it after a certain point.

Uma mistura de cruzadinhas com... wordle talvez? Ta ai faz um tempinho mas só descobri agora e achei muito divertido. Virou meu vício do momento.

Única parte ruim é ser em inglês e as vezes é uma dificuldade extra porque o meu não é tão bom. Mas fora isso, muito bem feito e inteligente e gostoso de resolver.

One and a half years I played this daily, mastered it.

Today I reinstalled because it was buggy, squares didn't show letters, and all my achievements and trophies were gone.

Bye my constant companion, your words had gotten insane the last months (seldom bird species, medical ethymology...) but loved every minute with you. kisses

Another gem from Zach Gage.

Clever and well-crafted, builds out a consistent ludic language that nevertheless often surprises! Just good stuff if you are into this kind of thing.
