Not very relaxing, is it? While I do appreciate that this game just gets started - with a few sentences about how you totally inherited this shop or whatever and now, go, bake things and sell them - I didn't like how it's also very grindy immediately and it doesn't look like your skill tree will unlock anything that makes the game especially easier or more automated. It's just Diner Dash-style constant running back and forth and trying to meet needs while barely succeeding, and making very little money per day and I can't see anything in the skilltree that would improve it. This game had gotten old and repetitive after only like an hour, and looking at the trophies, they want you to play like 50+ hours of this game, yet it doesn't look like it's going to expand much further than what it is. You run between stations to pick up flour, sugar and blueberries, throw it in the oven and then deliver it. You can automate cleaning of tables but the item description doesn't say anything about automating picking of berries or taking food from the counter to the customer (and the counter only has one spot anyway).
So, yeah, it's like what if Diner Dash had a few too many tasks to feel elegant, while also having you run for too far too many times in a day with no unlockable improvements on the horizon. I might launch this game again in a while, but probably not.

best way to describe this genre is: cozy chaos
i looove the art style, the food omg ♡-♡
i wanted to eat everything, i could smell the bakery through my screen!! and the game is highly addictive, i found myself launching the game whenever i had a short break when i first started playing it. but 100%ing it took a lot of time, it took me 20.5 hours which is A LOT for a small game like this that gets repetitive after 4-5 hours, so i took my time and completed it in like ~7 months, i'm satisfied with my 100% and oddly attached and sad to be done with my cute small bakery :(

it's a really cute baking game with cozy vibes; it does get old/repetitive quick but i still liked it, especially with how it puts you under pressure during the "lunch rush". it's grindy and takes patience, maxing the skill tree made the gameplay easier. sometimes it was buggy but aside from that it was still enjoyable!
Cute diner sim that’s a bit like diner dash style play. The art is cute. The premise is simple enough - nothing complicated with this game.
Some issues - it’s easy to get stuck on things like door ways and it’s hard to set things down or pick them up. This is just an annoyance if you are rushing and the physics are a bit funky.
I don’t think you can even fail a day; you can have good or bad days but there’s a tree of upgrades you work to unlock with money and that’s about it in terms of objectives.
Note the ps5 is broken and several of the trophies are glitched and still not working. I have almost everything done even just got the lemon tree but can’t get the trophies I’ve earned.
Hoping the developers and Sony fix this issue as the ps4 trophy system works. Shelved waiting to get the patch. If you are looking or get maybe go with the ps4 so you can get the platinum.

Lemon Cake is probably the cutest cooking/waitressing simulator I’ve ever played and the game made baking a lot of fun. It also helped that the game has several deserts for you to bake and serve to the customers that you learn by gaining levels while you play.
At the end of each day you’ll get the chance to customize your menu and buy upgrades for the shop or buy furniture for your room. It’s really satisfying to watch the shop, greenhouse, and bedroom get all fixed up and repaired.
As much fun as I had playing Lemon Cake, the game suffers from some problems. Managing the bakery during lunch hour can be very overwhelming and hard to keep up with orders especially if you’ve got some complicated recipes on the menu, along with other tasks like cleaning the tables or having to add lumber for the ovens so they stay lit.
Also once I’ve bought all the upgrades for the shop and my room, I felt a little unmotivated to still play the game cause I was just getting money at the end of the day with nothing to spend it on. Another huge issue the game has is with the character creator and the lack of options for hairstyles and clothes. There’s just not a lot to choose from and there’s no option to buy more with the money you earn from the bakery. I hope the developer/s continue to add more features and content to the game because Lemon Cake has a lot of potential and I’d be sad to see it wasted.
Pros:
+lots of recipes
+customizable menu
+adorable art style
Cons:
-not a lot of hairstyles or clothing options
-lunch hour is stressful and overwhelming

A very pleasant little restaurant simulator! I love how cute everything looks and the character customization. The gameplay can get a touch repetitive so I find it is best to play in small bursts. Still, it's really cute and a fun way to unwind at the end of the day...but don't get too relaxed! That lunch rush is no joke!!
