horrid cutscene performance, powers shoehorned in with barely any backstory (the only true backstory for it is just people theorizing how it came to be -with kind of reasonable responses- but still not enough to justify how this game felt more an interactive TV show à la 13 reasons why, degrassi or even riverdale. its a perfect example of "good enough story, wrong medium"

IF i had to critique the first game i suppose i dislike how robotic the characters are but it almost gives lis its charm..
Very nice game with good ambience. Probably terribly outdated by now but fine by its time. Decent story with decent plot twist and conclusion. Solid all around.

i hit the inevitable mid-game burnout i usually get with decision games but the most shocking reveal i've ever seen kinda made up for that so👍 half a star less because the writing when it came to dialogue was kinda cringe and i'm sorry but max's VA fumbled the tone of some scenes
Really enjoyed this game, the time travel made it something other than a game about teen angst, for which I was grateful. Very intense, gave me a lot to think about.

I loved playing this game for the first time, if I played it the first time and never opened it again, it would be a 5, but after discovering that your choices don't change ANYTHING in the game, I found it a bit boring, what you do doesn't affect almost anything in the world , I know it's a 2015 game, but imagine playing a game of choice, where the ending is always the same in every detail

El juego sentó un precedente y desde luego que afectó al resto de videojuegos del mismo género, pero todos los personajes eran insoportables, la trama era muy irregular (le gustaba demasiado hacer plot twist sorprendentes, sin importar la trama) y el final estropea el sentido mismo del juego. Eso sí, el estilo visual es chulo y la BSO genial.

Joguei Life is Strange ainda na adolescência, na época de escola. Sempre quando o timing da minha vida bate com a temática de algum jogo que consumi, tendo a ter fortes sentimentos relacionados a ele. Afinal, podemos nos ver refletidos e representados naquela obra, o que sempre é emocionalmente forte.
Com Life is Strange foi assim. O jogo, que já trata de temas bem pesados, me cativou ainda mais por ter uma ambientação próxima com o que eu vivia.
O recurso de voltar no tempo me interessa muito e é brilhantemente utilizado no jogo, tanto em termos de mecânica no gameplay, quanto de agregar à narrativa, pois abre discussões interessantes sobre efeito borboleta e os perigos de alterar o tempo. Isso tudo converge no interessantíssimo dilema de Max, que carrega o pesado fardo de ter, em suas mãos, o poder de voltar no tempo, mas aos poucos aprende que algumas coisas simplesmente não podem mudar, elas DEVEM acontecer.
Mas também o jogo trata de conflitos mundanos que são igualmente bem interessantes e pesados. Gosto desse mix de metafísica com questões reais, que acabou se tornando uma marca da franquia Life is Strange.
O jogo é narrativo baseado em decisões do jogador e, de fato, algumas delas possuem grande impacto, mas sinto que elas são, em geral, bem certo/errado, preto/branco e não possuem tanta área cinzenta, que considero essencial para incomodar o jogador e provocar mais reflexão. As escolhas também não tem grande efeito em cadeia, então cada uma acaba sendo bem independente do que o jogador já escolheu em outro momento. Mas, de qualquer forma, o sistema de decisões é decente e serve para o propósito do jogo.
Em suma, recomendo muito e tenho certeza que metade das músicas do jogo estarão para sempre em sua playlist.

Não zerei ainda, mas a história é bem cativante e esse recurso de voltar no tempo é incrível, quem sabe no futuro eu vejo um dos fins dele.

a melhor parte do jogo é quando matamos a chloe ao fim do jogo (se vc escolheu sacrificar arcadia bay se trate)... a trilha sonora é impecavel.... é um bom jogo, pra época foi incrivel... mas acho que perdeu o "tcham" com o passar dos anos

One of the most deeply tender, sweet, and unapologetically stupid games ever. Life is Strange perfectly captures early-2010’s millennial youth culture in the most endearing and earnest way possible. I wholeheartedly love this game, stupid quirks and all.
