I played this game for probably 15 minutes and it sucked ass. But I'm an amiibo collector and I find these cards really funny, so I'd like to have them all at some point.
A Mario Sports game that offers variety and quantity over quality in terms of the sports offered. Tennis and Golf (which have their standalone Mario games on the 3DS) are simplified versions of the main titles. Soccer is fun but not on the level of the Striker games. Horse Racing is an interesting addition and offering but it does not overly excel at anything.
I completed all tournaments. All in all, this is an average offering by Nintendo but good enough for quick sessions and killing time.

This game feels like a bad buffet. There are lots of different food toppings, but all of them lack the originiality or flavor of what made the food topping good in the first place.
Poor. Forgettable. Just play Mario Sports Mix or one of the other Mario sports games.
This game is a disgrace and has literally no point in existing. Not only is it an affront to the Mario Sports Mix, but also an affront to the Mario Sports series as a whole. Why? Because it's just a poor man's recreation of various sports titles, such as Mario Tennis, Mario Sluggers, Mario Strikers, and Mario Golf. None of the minigames from the original Sports Mix are present, it's just significantly worse versions of pre-existing games, some of which already have 3DS entries, with a shitty horse racing minigame to top it off. The games have non of the depth their full game counterparts have either. The most lazy, bland, and unfun thing imaginable.

1. It seems like they spent most of the budget on the horse racing portion, and kinda just ported the rest

This is a fun distraction to play for like 10-15 mins before doing something else.
Two of the sports are directly ripped from other 3DS games so that's neat.
Baseball is decent, Football is decent, Horse Riding is fine I guess.
I dunno nothing here is really good, but I wouldn't say any of it is straight up bad.
