Certainly a Mario tennis game.
Well, it's better than Mario Tennis for Virtual Boy, at least.
at the time i liked it a bit, but looking back yeah its just worse than the previous outings and even tennis aces at this point.

this game came out when i started playing tennis and i remember i made my mom get teh tennis racket attachment for the wii remote and i full on wore a headband and wristbands while i played this

Enjoyed it, but it is just tennis with Mario characters, not enough unique Mario spin on it.
Way worse than the first game. The AI can't return drop shots until the last few cups.
I don't know how they have been fumbling the bag with some of these recent Mario sports game when they could literally be carrying over the GameCube games with minimal improvements and they would be just fine.

If you don't like this game I hate to say it but you just don't like tennis mario games in general. To this day, I still play this game and get sucked into tournaments and grinding for more mii clothes.
Wish there were more characters but we get the essentials. Also this game gets sweaty fast with the power ups. If you're not using those... you're as useful as wet bread.

Pretty bare bones and not really tennis in the end because of the special shots, but still a good time-waster nonetheless.
I mean I did own this on my 3DS, I just barely remember any of it. The mario golf game on the 3DS was better.

I don't know what the hell this game is, I don't remember getting it or even asking for it, but man, for a little 3DS game nobody cares or talks about? It was pretty damn fun.

I had a lot of fun playing against bots in this but that's about it. i cant remember much else beyond that
played it once for an hour and then like never again, because I forgot that I had it. I was really surprised that I had this game about 3 or 4 years later.
Mario Tennis Open is the best Mario tennis game because of all the unique things you can do. I even played this online for a while and enjoyed going through the different matches with all the different characters. I championed the game with my Mii character and loved all the unique combinations you can do to make the ball move better. I prefer this one over the GameCube version.

I played this a lot back in the day. It’s pretty fun for a little and then it gets stale and repetitive because it’s just tennis at the end of the day. But I put a good amount of time playing this and it was enjoyable.
