As someone who makes Overwatch youtube videos for a living and hates parody dating sims, I had a good laugh when I learnt this was coming out
I thought this was fine - it's pretty clear that effort and love has put into Loverwatch. The artstyle and backgrounds are all especially nice! However, it's also exactly what I expected in that it's shallow and can't be sincere for a second out of fear of isolating players who think dating sims are icky. To be fair though, there is only a 15 minute run time so I can't really ask for much

how many more of these self-absorbed visual novels that think they're extremely hilarious, ones that are practically on their knees begging the reader to laugh at how Quirky they are, that might have an ironic love for the genre at best rather than making the most miniscule effort to simply embrace it warts and all, must we endure until this insufferable "bit" falls out of vogue
I spent my Valentine's Day playing this. Well, 15 minutes of it anyway. Would have been 5 stars if you could date Mei, but you can't, so no recommendation here. Thanks for the highlight intro though.

Absolutely hilarious. This is the most stupid concept for a valentines event. And I love it. It makes constant meta jokes, the artwork is surprisingly great and it was fun to get a couple rewards for in Overwatch 2 as well.
