this is definitely fruity. good for them

I enjoyed my time with this little game. I i enjoyed the graphics, the art, animation and UI a lot, as they all worked well together. I personally liked the voice acting as well. The story wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but fits well within the genre, and is typically sweet. It's exactly what you expect on the tin and that's ok! if that's what you're looking for: you've found it. happy yuri.

Cute game! The beginning was a little confusing, going back and forth between the past and the present, but once I got the full picture it was pretty easy to piece everything together. It isn't super long, so I'd recommend it if you've got an afternoon to kill.

Nice little Yuri VN with really good art and voice acting.

Short and sweet yuri VN that's a relaxing way to spend a few hours. Art is really polished and nice. The story doesn't stand out too much and there are a few issues with the writing (the writer really loves to put... ellipses... everywhere...) but overall it's a nicely produced indie game that I had a fun time reading with friends.

A short yuri VN with nice presentation and a heartwarmingly sappy love story. A bit rough in certain aspects (mostly voice acting) but the earnestness shines through.

Absolutely adorable yuri visual novel where you get to see the story unfold and decide it's fate from the perspective of two lovely ladies, Marion LaRue and Audrey Clary. They are students of the magical arts, trying to battle between the expectations of family versus the passion to do what's best for yourself.

The story is quite short and heavily relies on flashbacks, which is a cheap way of storytelling in my books, but the story in it's simplicity is boosted by the fully voice acted characters, animated CGs and sprites and the over-all lovely artstyle. The character design in this visual novel is also very pleasing to the eye and you can tell that the characters all have varying personalities and are not cut from the same mould.

My only gripe with the game would have to be, that the choices felt a little unnecessary and there were not enough endings. The story can end in two ways, a happily ever after and a less happily ever after, but still happy. It would have been far more interesting of a story if the two endings would have been polar opposites, or if there were multiple endings i.e. romance end, friendship end and bad end.

Overall, I would highly recommend people to play this game! If you are a fan of cute gay girls doing cute magical things or you wan't to have your heartstrings tugged by array of emotions, this is definitely for you. The price is also very good for the amount and quality of content you get.

Pleasant little yuri game.

Sometimes I think there's a pattern in yuri where a lot of it is really... soft? Not even soft per se. Toothless. Dramaless. I think there's something really compelling in where this game centers its narrative. The game starts with the girls dating and then picks up a year later after their break-up. Working within that trick framework of knowing so much about each other but unsure where to rebuild from there. What do you do with all the useless information you have of someone who isn't in your life anymore?

This hook kind of falls to the wayside as the details of their goals and their break-up sort of end up too neat and tidy. Its not really anyone's fault, the year of tension can get solved with one more day on the town. The cause of the break-up isn't really as a result of their decisions as a couple, its outside factors causing problems and leading to hurt feelings. No real villains except unnamed characters with faces obscured to represent general bullying. Neat. Tidy. Sweet and no sour.

But its cozy, you know? Endearing. Girls liking girls. That's what it sets out to do and that's all it needs to be.

This was a nice and cute way to spend three hours on a weekend. It's... effectively your average VN in terms of gameplay — make choices that change the ensuing dialogue slightly and ultimately determine which of the two endings you get, but as a short game that works well enough and the presentation/artstyle is gorgeous enough to kinda make you forgive/forget the more simple design compared to Yangyang's previous efforts. The story's also nice — I really like the use of dual perspectives between friends-turned-enemies Marion and Audrey: it helps give both of them separate arcs and subplots and makes the issues/differences between them grey enough that you're rooting for the two to overcome them and get back together again. There's... small issues — the worldbuilding/magic system is wayyyyyyy too complex for what is a three hour game which left me with too little info about certain things (what's the stigma against healers? why specifically would it be a problem if Audrey wants to be a healer?) and some of the choices listed aren't exactly indicative of what they actually mean, but those are mostly small gripes. It's ultimately a really nice little coming-of-age story which while maybe not being enough to reach the level of something like The Letter is still absolutely worth your time if you ever happen to get it. 7/10.

Perfect Gold it is the most overwhelmed surprised I had this year so far. The polishment alone on its UI, presentation on moving sprites, and Cg's. Along with a lovely soundtrack that fits like a glove into this beautiful, and heartwarming story. Perfect Gold does not play fair, it really uses all its qualities to shake you here, and then. Specially when it comes to the VA's that enforce even more this fairy tale full of love. Like opening a book with my own hands and never wanted to end, the atmosphere, vibe or how full of life all of have been. Perfect Gold its something I will never forget, its memories and feelings are to be keep, just like a fairy tale book.
