The beginning of an endless stream of side scrolling military commando games. This one is a solid start, but both level and enemy design is pretty simple.
Competent port of the arcade hit. Too short to be of any real consequence, but a fun blast.
Now THIS was a hidden gem I'm glad I found. The gameplay is simple, but tight and challenging. The music kicks ass, and it's so satisfying to drop a swarm of enemies with the rockets. It's not very long, and the bosses leave a bit to be desired but I actually like this one quite a bit.
A gameplay loop that is structured around three enemies: the black soldiers that you can attack on the ground, the red ones that you have to anti-air by jumping yourself and the orange ones that can shoot. The game is moderately difficult and has some good backgrounds that keep things varied. Nevertheless, it remains a rather poor title in the challenge it presents. It's a shame that the character grabs a ladder as soon as he's on it (without even having to press the up button), which is a problem when trying to kill the reds. Otherwise, if the bosses bring a bit of diversity, there is nothing particularly brilliant.

A one star from me because I found it too hard for me. The one hit kills especially from the soldiers that do the jump kicks are very difficult to avoid getting hit.
A decent NES conversion of Green Beret, but as good as the port is, the original game is mostly OK, not great.

É um jogo bem divertido, mas bastante desafiador, tive que usar do save state pra conseguir chegar até o final, porque o desafio e nível de memorização é um pouco absurdo, mas nada que se a pessoa tiver tempo e dedicação não consiga. Acho legal que a falta de variedade de inimigos mais ajuda na experiência do que atrapalha, tu sempre tem que ir se preparando para o que está por vim, mesmo que isso seja limitado.
