Decent FMV game. Suffers from all of the usual problems but it's entertaining enough, doesn't outstay its welcome, and I at least wanted to know what was going to happen in the end.

adivinhei o plot antes por questão narrativa, mas ainda assim gostei bastante.

Only got 46 out of 62 scenes but got most of the story. A fun short film that let's you choose how the story goes. Got the game when it was on sale and I'd say it was worth the purchase.

It always feels like watching a movie when playing these FMV games. I was surprised that the game wasn't shot with English as the main language, but the dubbed scenes weren't all that bad, they were pretty well done, though I assume the native language scenes with English subtitles would have been better probably, hah.

The four endings were .. interesting. Each reveals a different part of the story, so the game recommends you to play the game again multiple times. Some of the elements of the story were a little confusing to me and that might have just been me, but it didn't really make the game any less enjoyable.

Only negative thing I have to say is some of the scenes with knives were obviously fake and not done all that well. Still, I do recommend this game!

I found the game quite immersive and interesting, after a first playthrough I was a bit dissapointed it was short and lacked some richness in the choices you've made but figured out that playing a 2nd, 3rd and etc. time, there's actually some more interesting scenes during the playthrough.
Definetely get it on a sale and have a go.

Better than I thought it would be

I will say that this is by far one of the best-looking FMV games I've ever played, right up there with Late Shift. The cinematography looks incredibly cinematic, the acting is solid, and it largely feels like a "real movie."

The problem is that the script isn't terribly interesting; this is a generic crime procedural with a hilariously obvious big reveal.

Also the choices aren't all that compelling; I played through it twice just to see most of the alternate scenes, but didn't really care about what was going on either way.

For some reason you can't pause or skip scenes on the Steam Deck, so I couldn't be bothered to play it anymore to see more footage. Bummer.

Game #19: She Sees Red

This was the first interactive movie I completed and it was a waste of time. Story and endings weren't really interesting. I don't think I'll try an another interactive movie for a while.

2/10

Basically a interactive movie, like the one netflix does. My reaction trying to see all the endings was:
1st playthrough: Uh, neat.
2nd: Okay.
3rd: This is absurd.

wtf
(and also it's super jumpy on the Nintendo Switch which is weird since Late Shift played just fine)

Some trivia about me if you happen to be scrolling through my account: I am a sucker for full motion/live action video games. There is something about them I am permanently charmed by. Even if the game sucks, I will play it all the way through and enjoy it. I can't even really tell you what I love about them, they just click for me.

This game was very simple and streamlined but I enjoyed it regardless. The acting was so so but it holds your attention. And there is some merit to replaying the game and exploring other routes. It's really slow paced though and annoying to skim through sections.

In terms of FMV games, it was just ok. But I am biased towards them so I enjoyed it

I generally kind of enjoy these FMV games like Erica or The Bunker.

But this one was too weird and too dumb. Not sure it made any sense. Maybe it was a language barrier thing.

Its a FMV, like watching a movie where you make the choices. Like me and my partner in a movie theatre not caring about the people around us, just yelling at the dumb main character. Only now that dumb main character does what we say. If you're into that type of thing, its an alright game. If you're burnt out on gaming, this is a nice one to get into for a short break.

An interactive thriller where you get to make decisions for a detective investigating a murder in a nightclub run by a gang leader. The fight scenes are brutal and there is plenty of replayability to get the various branching options.

I tried other games of this genre, such as Late Shift or The Complex, and unfortunately, She Sees Red was the worst among them. It didn't meet my expectations and I didn't feel it was up to par with the others.

A below-average murder mystery. The cast and English voice actors do a good job. However, the story is too confusing and vague. Even after watching all 4 endings, I had to read spoilers to piece it all together. Context and motive are at a minimum. The game does numerous cuts to the past, with some feeling unnecessary and disjointed. There is a major plot twist towards the end, but it is done so poorly you may not even realize it. The endings leave you with more questions than answers. Despite these issues, I don't regret playing this, but there are better adventure games and interactive movies to experience.

Interactive movie that plays almost entirely in a Russian night club. The thing is short enough (one plauthrough is roughly 30mins, skip becomes available after the second playthrough) to not wear out its interest even with multiple playthroughs.

Playing with Russian audio is recommended.

12 year old me would be going nuts finding a nip in a video game like this... actually, who am I kidding? 33 year old me is too!!

Overall, fun the first couple times. Same goes for the story the first couple times, but gets old trying to get all the achievements. Only takes a couple hours to 100%. I'll be looking for more like it in the future.

Si no te enganchó las primeras escenas, no te vas a enganchar en repetirlas 500 veces para ver 3 finales distintos chotos... y nada, si estas muy muy muy aburrido y tenés tiempo que perder, jugalo. Se aprecian los actores, nada más.
