Who ever realized the mouse curser should be Woodstock should be having a lovely day today cause that’s genius and also 16 bit Peanuts looks AMAZING!

I actually didn't play this myself, but I watched MagneticBurn do it start to finish in a vc and gave him help and ideas along the way. It's mostly point and click, so I got about the same experience I'd think. I love Peanuts, and this captures its nature and style very nicely, so I enjoyed this a lot too. There are a couple of slider puzzles at the end of one segment, which I could really do without, but otherwise we had a damn solid time.

The music here, which I think also deserves a special mention, is done by Hirozaku "Hip" Tanaka, who also did the soundtrack for Earthbound. You can hear a lot of similarities throughout, so that's pretty cool.

snoopy suicide hotline 😢

Concept album of Peanuts' happenstance moments that objectively lean closer to busywork than actual fun, but like, fuck it. That's Peanuts, baby. This brand of meandering through bizarre 'it-is-what-it-isms' with Snoopy at the behest of Woodstock makes for a very stylish mirage of the source material's imagination and peculiarities. Hirokazu Tanaka's music and sound design are what sell the package for sure, with great renditions of iconic jazz from the shorts and sfx that convey curiosity and cranial intrigue at every corner. Shoutout to Jenny and Xenon for playing through this w/ me, probably would've gotten stuck multiple times without them.

Also learned how to solve slide puzzles just for this game. Fuck slide puzzles. I would rather be put in prison than do another slide puzzle.
