The amount of single player content this game has is insane, absolutely insane considering the standards for fighting games.
With that said, the gameplay is a small step back from SCII but still, if played casually and not competitive, really really fun

Bamco bring back Chronicles of The Sword ffs

it's probably okay but my tv can't output the game at a smooth framerate whatsoever, the game feels like it's playing in slow motion.. i'll probably emulate it

El modo historia estilo fire emblem, RECUPERADLO

Played the absolute shit out of this game on the ps2, arguably one if not THE best consoles ever. Kid me couldn't understand why the characters didn't bleed when seemingly cut in half by a scythe

I remember a ex-friend introduced me to these games back in 2012 I wound up buying this game and the second game as well, I didn't get any sleep that day because I was engrossed with the Tales of Souls, also take great joy in being a Kilik main as one my more recent replays of this game I forgot how amusing the Turntable missions where.

And I may or may not have ringed myself out a few times, which was also left me laughing too.

I hope whoever came up with the Turntable mission got a raise.

O meu jogo de luta predileto.

I used to love these in the Arcade and used to watch YouTube vids of them casually but was bummed they weren't on the consoles I owed.

A shame it wasnt on Gamecube cause I would have loved this growing up, just as much as I did 2. Great game.

This game's weird adventure mode where you play with custom characters on a big strategic map is a lot of fun.

Hot take, but I will argue that this one is even better than Soul Calibur 2.

Sure it doesn't have some issues, it's not the most balanced roster ever, and it can be really janky in some of the modes and bosses. It also feature a bit amount of bugs and unpolished things.

But man this is a game with so much content and replayability, sometimes you forget that it's a fighting game.
The presentation is nicer compared to other titles, and the old and new characters, alongside the quirkyness of the different alternative endings makes for really enduring stories and arcade modes (man I am surprised more fighitng games doesn't go for alternate arcade endings, it's such a good idea).

Even the character creation is great while not being at the same level of later SC titles, and the way you can bring your dumb OCs into an interesting Adventure Mode is really fun.

One of the best in the series in my opinion. Definitely a must-play if you are a fan of 3D fightings games.

Creo que esta es, sin lugar a dudas, la mejor entrega de la saga, y me duele demasiado que este atrapada en la PS2 sin ningun tipo de port para otras plataformas.

Torneio entre os personagens criados pra ver quem merecia permanecer no memory card

Fun game modes. I'm almost entirely sure this game set the bar for wacky character customization in any fighting game around its era.

I have no idea why indie devs haven't tried to copy the chronicles of the sword mode. A strategy-fighting game combo with custom characters is a genius idea.

um dos melhores jogos de luta que existiu
hype absurdo persoangens mt pica story mode mt divertido

The Soul Calibur that Setsuka debuted in. I'm biased because mama is inspired by Yuki Kashima from one of my favorite films Lady Snowblood. There's an Arcade Edition that balances the roster and fleshes out the gameplay, but the vanilla version is pretty good on its own casually.

Zasalamel was such a cool new character they had to balance things out by also introducing Kira, one of the worst they’ve ever made.

(Aesthetically, I mean. Narratively. I’m not a professional gamer, I don’t know what damn-ass tiers they are)

Soulcalibur IV was a game I grew up with, so heading into III I was curious if it would be any better. Now I gotta play IV again and see how it holds up. SC III is the bee's knees of 3D fighters.

o fechor nos jogo de luta com zero conteúdo

So much content, different modes and unlockable stuff.
Fighting games peaked HERE

A pretty fun game overall with a plethora of content. Apparently it's super glitchy and imbalanced, which isn't really a problem considering you won't be playing multiplayer, but because of this I'm obligated to dock it some points. Still I'd say it's worth playing.

Me trae buenos recuerdos al ser de los primeros juegos de lucha que probé en su momento para Ps2
