Oh it's so awfully obscure and impossible to solve but I love the voice acting so much and the fact John Cleese voices a talking bomb that arms itself as soon as you press the giant red DISARM button.

Obtuse to the point of unfathomable.
"Where's the elevator?"
"At the top of the Well."
"Where/what is the Well?"
"You can't miss it."
Well clearly I have!
Utterly dreadful navigation through 3D space doesn't help either.

I like Douglas Adams, and this game is... unique, but very confusing and not that very good.

Abandon Reason: Weird puzzles, not enough direction, bad walkthroughs. Watched a playthrough.

Funny, but overwhelmingly abstruse.

An underrated point'n'click game. It's really funny, most the puzzles are very satisfying. It does suffer from some moon-logic here and there, but still highly playable for fans of the genre.

A fun time capsule until it became so obtuse that it was impossible to progress without looking up a guide. Not just because of hard puzzles but because of having to figure out HOW the game wanted you to input something when you already knew what you wanted to do.

Myst + Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

What’s not to love?

This game rules but also the puzzles get so silly that I would actually recommend playing it with a walkthrough.

PSA, there's also a novel adaptation that you can read online here: http://www.starshiptitanic.com/novel/index3.html
