Fun game but near the end most of the enemies are basically damage sponges that take a shit ton of attack to kill, might be a skill issue idk

A good relic from a time Cartoon Network didn't try to end the show prematurely because of homophobia, obligating Crewnivese to try to develop an entirely new villain in 5 episodes and basically causing one of the worst endings I've ever seen
Anyway, the game is pretty good

if you're a fan of Steven Universe, you'll most likely enjoy this game. I found the combat to be very fun, and the artstyle is incredibly cute and pleasing to look at. however, the game did crash quite a lot, which was annoying.

Really fun RPG with a stunning artstyle.
Suffers from a LOT of glitches, though at least from my experience, none of them completely softlock you.
As for difficulty, this game is REALLY easy, I don't think I've gotten a game over even once all throughout the game. The only enemies I remember having any trouble with (yes, including bosses) were the enemies in the optional area on Bismuth's Forge.
Story's decent, not too great, not too bad.
Enjoyable experience overall, worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

rebecca sugar innocent: basically anything to do with the creative spirit of the show is great. the dialogue, art design, voice acting, worldbuilding, music—all phenomenal

the game, on a mechanical level, though? OOF. more bugs than beach city has grains of sand, balancing issues from every aspect of gameplay through the rationing of item spawns, a lot of dead space, and more. attack the light worked better because it exceeded its mobile game ambitions, but save the light STRUGGLES to be a good console game

queen baranski deserves better but boy am I thankful she made it here anyways

A lovely sequel to the mobile game that expands upon the combat, exploration, and story in pretty much every way. It has some pacing issues and bugs, but the beautiful visuals and versatile combat make this a must-play for fans of the show.

The game is a little weird in how it expects you to progress. There's no indication of what you're supposed to do sometimes and that can halt the player. Otherwise, a solid game.

Still a very cute, fun and surprisingly deep (for what it is) turn-based RPG. I haven't seen a single Steven Universe episode and I still enjoyed this. I didn't run into the 100% bug this time around, which means I was able to platinum it!

Don't worry this comic has no context to the game, what does however is playing Paper Mario or Grandia franchises. Serious did not expect the style or mechanics of either franchise to be apart of this game, but it works so well and I love the game for that. While originally the game supposedly suffered from a lot of bugs and problems, the only problem now is the lackluster enemy designs and pretty nonexistent music the game has. Still it has a shockingly good combat system that makes it unique and rewarding to abuse.

Eu amo esses jogos. Para além de se encaixar perfeitamente na timeline da série, é mto divertido fzr essa aventura pelo mundo da série enquanto controlas os personagens q adoras e tudo encaixa mto bem no esquema de rpg. adoro d+!!!

oh my god this game runs SO BADLY ON SWITCH

glitches are a plenty.

Super fun despite its pretty weak ending. Still great though!!

save the light is a perfect game for su fans the artstyle is charming the story is great and is overall just a great game for the series. It has a combat system befitting the series and a great soundtrack. However it has it downsides at it often ends up being buggy and sometimes struggles with the changing camera perspectives.

It crashed an ungodly amount of times but it has Peridot in soooooo

If you like the series there are so many references and its very good to pass the time

This game is very cute and captures the spirit of Steven Universe very well with its simple aesthetic.

The cast is mostly playable (Lapis felt like the only major omission) and well utilized in terms of the skills they each have available. Additionally the relationship mechanic was an excellent way of including and making playable the various gem fusions.

I found the game to be surprisingly tougher than I expected. All the way through to the end of the game even normal battles were challenging enough that I couldn't coast through them without thought.

As someone without rhythm I was not a fan of the timed button presses for attack and defense bonuses, though I got better with practice.

The story was simple but fun and in keeping with the themes of the show. My only real complaint was that some of the voice lines (mostly incidental lines) felt more tonally in-keeping with early Steven Universe.
