This game is fantastic, and I don't even like puzzle games! I just think that fusing two genres is such a cool thing to do. But, it isn't 100% smooth. Mario's jump height just feels so wrong. I always feel like I should be able to make jumps that I can't and I just get hit instead.

The Sky Islands are a bad first impression. In the first game, The Great Plaetau felt as big as Hyrule Fields from Ocarina because of your lack of limitations. The Sky Islands halt you. If you take the wrong path, then you'll be led to a dead end. It took me hours just to find the fuse shrine because of how much more restrictive it felt. At the end of the day, it's a sequel to BOTW (even if it's a bit overpriced).

A very janky masterpiece. The Pikmin ai bogs it down a bit, but this series struck gold right out the gate. Having 30 days to collect 30 ship parts leads to a time limit system that is somehow both manageable and insanely stressful, and it works perfectly. Once you know how everything works, it's an endlessly replayable game. Especially when you know about the egg that gives you 100 free Pikmin :)
