honestly the original version of 3d world is mid as hell, especially single player

Moja jedyna i ulubiona gra 3D z Mario

Juégalo no te arrepentirás.

the gameplay itself is only just okay but it gets bumped up for me because it's probably the most fun co-op mario game. it's just great to play with your siblings/friends because there's so much more space compared to something like NSMB wii/u. it has some neat levels too

I really like Rosalina so her being a playable character in this game makes me happy

In my pursuit to play through the first party Wii U games I have but haven't beaten yet, this was next on the chopping block after Treasure Tracker reminded me so much of it, and DAMN was it a good block to chop. Easily one of the best Mario games ever. Presentation, music, level design are all top notch. I played through trying to collect everything, missing only a scant few stamp thingies in worlds 1-10. I WOULD play the 11th world, but unlocking that seems absolutely insane, so I won't be doing it :P (In addition to getting all collectibles, you also need to beat ALL levels in worlds 1-10 with ALL five characters! Madness!).

Just like there was Mario Land on the Gameboy and Mario World on the SNES, we have Mario 3D Land on the 3DS and Mario 3D World on the Wii U. I thought 3D land was okay, but ultimately too easy to be terribly interesting (for the record, it also did the "beat every level with every character" thing, but there were only two characters and it only unlocked one level). 3D World, on the other hand, is a fantastic multiplayer experience and an equally fantastic single-player experience. This is probably the Mario game that lends itself best to the multiplayer aspect, but the later levels (especially in worlds past 8) are difficult even for a single player, let alone several all competing for the same space.

The set-up is basically that there are stages you progress to on a world map, like Super Mario World, but each stage is it's own little Mario Galaxy-like 3D platforming stage. The result is VERY fun, and the added dimension is definitely the prime factor in how it's so much more easy to play multiplayer.

Verdit: Highly Recommended. I won't harp on much more. Chances are, if you have a Wii U, you either already have this game and have already beaten it and already know how great it is. At the very least, you've read someone else's review on the site and already know how much we like it, so yeah, I'm part of that group who think it's amazing. If you own a Wii U, it's definitely one of the best games you can have for the console. Behind the obvious BEST game for the system, this is a very solid second best :D

I really liked this game as kid, then i played it a second time and I really disliked it, then I played it a 3rd time, and had some mild fun with it. It can be cool and it's overall enjoyable enough, but I'm not big on the game structure or overall design. As with most games, it is enhanced with friends.

SUPER MARIOOOOOOO OBEST MARIO GAME EVERRRR

I quite enjoyed the game after i beat the main 8 worlds that I quite didn't like. It has the same problem as 3D Land which is focusing way too much on it's main power up but instead of the Tanuki it's the cat here. Once you get the cat the levels are way easier and without with the perspective issues they become a LOT harder so in my opinion it lack of balance. Also the other power ups have little to no use before you reach the endgame. So yeah, not a bad Mario game but a really average one.

this game is amazing! soundtrack is so good, new enemies majorly appreciated. the bonus worlds, the remixed levels, Rosalina, the challenging final final levels! so so so so good!

I really appreciated being able to change to a set perspective in most levels as that helped with my gameplay. I wish you could change perspective in multiplayer too :( but that's not big enough of a reason for it to not get a 9/10 as there really aren't many flaws in this game!

an incredible platformer! I'm looking forward to playing Super Mario Wonder 💗

Really fun game to play with family, however I've never been a big fan of Mario titles and I am very indifferent about this one. It was fun but nothing special ever.

While the Switch version is definitely better than this, this game is still perfectly good on Wii U and super well made

Solid ass game, feels great to control with five unique characters, and finally has unique enemies and environments. Only huge issue is these animals expect you to beat the game FIVE times to unlock the final level!! Are you serious miyamoto-san????

Mario mais divertido que ja joguei

cool game, i wish cats were real

I was really not expecting to have as much fun with this game as I did. I did not love 3D Land, and the idea of getting to Bowsers Fury is really what drove me to the finish line. I'm giving this a 4/5 despite those preconceptions - fantastic, tight platforming with interesting ideas that never overstay their welcome. I might even try the Captain Toad game as a result.

I had a wii u for like a month and this is the only game i had for it
