- Everything could be totally perspective -

I don't usually have that childlike wonder that I did playing games anymore. I think everyone loses that as they get older as well as nowadays it's blocked by the fact that under the hood I know everything in the game is within the bounds of what the developers have coded. This games atmosphere, story, and gameplay gets rid of all those boundaries. It convinces you anything is possible. The narrators continuously try to take control of your situation and you take it back every time by breaking the rules and making your own path. It lets you fully tap into that childlike imagination and it makes for an experience that everyone should have.
A short and sweet puzzle experience whort your time. Superliminal has a very strong foundation, and does a lot with it during its three hour runtime. I'm not a big fan of puzzle games, but this is probably an exception. The message of the game is also very beautiful, and I was not expecting the ending to be that emotional.
It really hams up its narrative at the end stretch but doesn’t really land. The puzzles are fun most of the time but a little confusing later on especially with the paradox stuff. I think it needed a little more time moving objects feels too awkward honestly at times since it’s only one axis you can correct.
Absolute masterpiece. Really innovative gameplay, coupled with a great message and big introspective moments. A puzzle game that is sort of a mixture between Inception, Portal and the Stanley Parable.
Great narration, great story, great puzzles, great journey. By the end of it I had chills all over me. It just keeps breaking expectations. The soundtrack is also amazing and contributes to the dreamlike feel of playing it.
It's all about perspective.

Solid, concise little experience that runs exactly as long as it needs to be (looking at you The Witness). Mixed reviews of the messaging throughout but the game itself invoked a lot of emotions and the ending quote has hung heavy in my stomach these last few days after finishing it. I feel oddly compelled to pick up Stanley Parable now.
I don't think I paid much for this game and I'm happy about it. The puzzle solutions are so easy that I felt nothing for solving them for the duration of the game, and I'd probably give a better rating if it weren't for that obscenely self-fellating ending that made me drop my jaw in a mix of awe and cringe
A copy of my steam review
Ok i am going to preface this review with the notion that i am very drunk, i am currently listening to the soundtrack and im writing a paper for my college course, and god fucking damn do i fucking love this game, i fucking love it so fucking much, Im having trouble putting it into words why i love this game, it could be because of the amount of drinks that ive had in the last 10 minutes. This game is smart, witty, fun, and clever. I've played this game like 5 times, every time someone stays at my house i make them play it, i even got the physical switch collectors edition. if you want an amazing game, please play Superliminal,
Also, developers,if you're reading this, if you could, please print the soundtrack physically, i dont care if its cassette, CD, vinyl or motherfucking 8 track, please.
