Super Meat Boy in Hell
Genuinely one of the best horror platformers out there, amazing visuals and a great soundtrack
If you do play this I highly suggest the PC version as it includes three bonus games if you can solve the puzzles in the games files and solving them is super rewarding
I can’t recommend this enough

For me, this was an absolute blast. Didn't end up finishing solely because I feel like I don't have the time for it at the moment, but definitely something I want to return to someday.
It's games like these that help remind me that no, I'm not just a crabby sourpuss that hates all difficult or challenging games, they just have to be fun. In this game, I felt challenged, but in a way that didn't frustrate me. Yes, I had moments where I kept rolling my eyes at my own deaths, but they were deaths that came for a clear reason, I knew exactly where I had messed up. And thankfully, this game is comprised of single room levels, so death doesn't do anything except reset the room. That, combined with the buttery smooth and fast movement that felt really clean and fun to control made this an awesome experience that I really appreciated.
I will warn though, this game is not messing around when it says that there's flash effects and strobing lights/colors. There's a LOT of that.

This game is not gonna be everyone cup of tea, but I really liked the aesthetic, the gameplay is decent too but your enjoyment from this game will depend on how much you like the aesthetic. One bit that did annoy me was the occasional jump scares during the hub area. Aside from that really cool game for those who can handle the grotesque, H.R Giger like imagery.
A bit of a mixed bag really but ultimately its a game where I felt pretty good about what I played. Theres a lot of very weird, creepy and unsetting moments about and the level design feels unique and interesting enough but theres just not enough here. I wound up finishing just wishing there was a few more levels to play through.
Also while most of the game is great, the game trying to make score-attack level speedrunning a thing doesnt work and it ruins the experience more than enhances. So just leave that mode alone and you'll be fine.
