Definitely slightly better than the first one, expanding on the world and making the gameplay more fluid was smart, adding more types of side missions does make the game longer to finish, but not necessarily more satisfying. Still, as AAA games go, this is a very good addition to my collection.

el cambio que necesitaba la saga y un bombazo en su tiempo

This was probably my favorite in the Ezio trilogy. Simple, fun sequences, cool world building mechanics, beautiful world, what's not to love?

most overrated franchise in the existince wtf is that

Ubisoft really made a good character design once and said hoo boy this is hard let's make sure we never do that again

i loved these games so much i loved ezio so much. extremely good horse gameplay

A great improvement on the original Assassin’s Creed. The different Italian cities were striking and memorable, and Ezio was a really likeable character, but it was a little clunky.

Slow, Fun combat. - Platinumed.

A bit more polished gameplay from the first game and a sizeable area to explore, but I think the story doesn't quite match the ambitions of its predecesor.

The rebirth of what could’ve been the greatest game series ever

AC2 is definitely an upgrade on the original, with an engaging story and a much more likable protagonist in Ezio. Exploring Italy and doing the optional dungeon platforming missions were a total blast, but this is again bogged down by the Desmond sections and a total descent into incomprehensible sci-fi shit in the last act.

One of my favorite AC games, but not even the best of the Ezio trilogy. The Ezio games are a must though. If you don't have it on your backlog/wishlist, add it

I replayed it recently, the narrative is great but the thing with games is that the story doesnt matter if the gameplay is shit. the combat is a bit clunky, I love the stealth and wish it was more prevalent in the newer games. the freerunning feels kinda clunky too and I fucking hate trailing missions. its my second favorite assassin creed game but it doesnt hold up today very much

A mostly okey title that does everything it sets out to do right. It's a shame that nothing of it feels interesting to me. As a sequel to the original, it feels less close to Assasin's Creed 1 than it does Prince of Persia, especially if we go by the tone. It also feels closer to The Da Vinci Code than The Kingdom of Heaven, which flushes all the themes of the original game down the toilet. Still, it's a fun ride if you can stand Ezio's shenanigans and the collecting.

Been my favourite all along but it repels me the idea of re-play it, intriguing.

GET SOME EIZO, GET SOMEEEEEEEEE Throws a barrel

Great action adventure and possibly my favorite Assassins Creed game still to this day

While it's an improvement in some regards compared to the original game Assassin's Creed 2 still finds awkwardness in parts of it's world design, pacing, and overall structure. Still it's fun to climb around Italy and some of the story sequences are my favorite in the franchise

Huge improvement on the first game. Interface and gameplay is much better, featuring the best AC story with genuine character development and a variety of interesting characters and environments to explore.

Ezio no auge. Um dos melhores AC!

This one was pretty good. The music is fantastic, Ezio is pretty great. He is the driving force of the game, because the antagonists are not.

Well, I've done the 100% achievements for Assassin's Creed II again.

This time around, it wasn't nearly as fun as before. Nostalgia might have gotten to me in a way. Ass-Creed II has some really neat features and some really cool ideas on where to take the series, but it's also extremely clunky and rough around the edges in almost every way.

Besides the story and voice acting, Assassin's Creed II has some sort of flaw in any particular category. Collectables are annoying, combat clunky, platforming unresponsive, and much, much more.

For what it is, I can appreciate Assassin's Creed II. Its influence on the gaming industry is noted through the following decade of Assassin's Creed games aping its design, as well as other open-world titles to come afterward. Yet the issues that plague this experience cannot be understated. Hopefully moving forward, we can see more refinement on the formula as I continue to play every Assassin's Creed game in 2021.

A game that hasn't held up as well as I'd like to remember. Though it was a massive improvement upon its predecessor and a fun game on its own right, it also fails to capture the promise of its ambition and tends to take a lot of shortcuts to achieve its lofty goals. A playful attitude and a moody atmosphere gives it its own charm, but little else.

Played up to the point I got to climb atop the Duomo and that was enough for me.

Massive upgrade to the original game. There's probably not much to add that hasnt been said already. Italy oozes charme, the city building feature is neat and Ezio is fantastic. Theres a reason this game really started the hype around AC.

Played it only once, but Assassin's Creed II was one of my greatest experiences I ever had in a video game.

I remember how much I enjoyed exploring Venice and all the other cities.
If you play it nowadays you will feel the age of this game, but it's still a reccomendation.
