Something about the graphics of this at the time of release really made me wanna love it, but...

Game looks gorgeous, but light on content and characters
also is a step back from other Budokai games in terms of gameplay mechanics but the removal of chance ultimates is much appreciated

Because those words are gonna come up like 50 times, man. The weights are off, on some Rock Lee shit, the weights are off. I took them off, I threw them into-

Best DBZ title for capturing art, everything else is mediocre

this game is a fucking mystical creature to me. i played the demo like once in a fever dream at someones house and it lived with me forever as the greatest thing created by man. i actually played it and kind of regretted taking that from me but it was so forgettable that i don't think that initial feeling is entirely gone

10/10, this is my all time Favorite Video Game and the first game i ever played, this has a special place in my heart as A Dbz fan and as a Gamer and a Person in General

I absolutel LOVE the gameplay, the stages, the music and the for a PS3/360 game the graphics were ahead of it's time.

But the developers were lazy when it comes to the story mode, and the character roster.

just read josiephine's review it's spot on

Budokai but with less content and in HD

Replaying on this game had me so excited for it since i loved budokai gameplay especially 3 but man this game is the definition of unfinished to hell. The combat continues using budokai movesets but giving a bit of freedom but this what i could give props to it.

The reused animations actually pains me so bad, especially on key moments they just re use over and over again and there's nothing that surpasses the Original except for Goku going Super Saiyan and Vegeta beating Second Form Cell.

Either way, it's a game that exists but at least it brought the coolest soundtrack that dragon ball game gave to us. (Sorry Tenkaichi series, you are a close one.)

My mom bought this game for me without telling my dad and he walked in on me playing it and said "is this a new one?" and I said it was a demo and that after 10 stages (I was only like 4) it would ask me to buy it and he believed me because he's OLD

I love you and I wish you were better

RELEASE THE FULL BURST LIMIT DIMPS/BANDAI NAMCO/ATARI PLEASEEEEEE

the definition of a game that fucks and at the same time sucks. the promo for this game was so sick like the cowboy wanted posters for goku and cell and shit lmao

A solid first step into HD dragonball games. Definitely a step down from the budokai formula but is still a fun game at its core. Its content is kind of limited and doesnt hold up very well now a days. Far from a bad game though

While this game does nothing particularly offensive, it does nothing to stand out either. Being a big DBZ fan and having enjoyed the Budokai series a lot, this game is a letdown both as fanservice for DBZ fans and as a fighting game in general. This game doesn't run at a stable 60fps, which is big nono for twitch action games. While the fighting mechanics themselves do surpass the previous entires in the Budokai series, the actual game has very little meat on the bones. The story mode is nothing to write home about, and there are no minigames or extra content to keep you entertained. Its one thing to have these flaws as new ip, but the fact that all the other previous Budokai games don't have these issues makes this inexcusable.

This pseudo sequel/reboot to the PS2's legendary Budokai games delivers visually, but falls flat in every other way. Shallow story mode, pace breaking new mechanics, and cut down roster/game modes makes this the least of Dimps' DBZ efforts.

Primeira hora: O MEUS DEUS, GRÁFICOS E COMBATE SUPER FODA.
