Trials and Tribulations is perhaps the strongest entry in the Ace Attorney series. It isn't my favorite, but I can recognize it as the strongest. The overarching story of TaT which includes case 1, 4, and 5 is one of the best in the series. Cases 2 and 3 are also extremely strong on their own. I love all of the characters that come together in this game and in new ones added, including prosecutor Godot. The game combines all the mechanics introduced in the previous two games and executes them well. Superb story, superb game
This is the best PW game in the series. Period. No debate. Because it has all of the characters from the previous 2 games, and the developers have gained so much experience, they can create the best interactions, the best twists, the best conclusions to arcs! This game is the reason every rerelease has to be a trilogy.
Truly, a sequel worthy of the first game. Every case was really great(the third case was OK)! The overarching story was also really great! I used hints from https://www.uhs-hints.com/, so I wouldn't feel like a dumbass, like when I did when I used a walkthrough! Godot is fucking epic. This game has a really great sense of humor, but also great drama! The sprites were so clean and appealing. The character designs were fun. And the weird 2010 memes made me go ape, which, even if they're not a good joke, were funny anyway, if that makes sense.
This game manages to remain completely similar to those before it while standing out as something more realized. It is a culmination of the less entwined story threads of the first two games put at the focus of this one that really makes the whole of the experience something more special. It embraces it's zaniness while removing none of the heart or impact of the narrative. It even manages to be profound at times, most notably making commentary on the nature of these kinds of games for a brief moment. The cast is as lovable as ever, and a lot of the returning characters get moments to really shine in a way they didn't previously. Every positive feeling I had about the first two games carry over to this one, and then some. This game filled me with a lot of joy and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to see more.
