I played this one first and was devastated when I read that Mia died

This game is still the most liked ace attorney in this franchise. I didn't understand at then, but after replaying again I kind of understand where they are coming from.

Because the most serious then ever had been ace attorney this game is, less goofy more serious. But still I have some problems with this game. 3rd case is a massive waste of time that doesn't contribute anything to the main focus of this game I understand this better while replaying this game, it literally kills the steady progression pace. Second case isn't great either but at least it's contributes something to overall experience with it's story about a broken couple with trust issues. Strangely for me the best case isn't finale case for this one, it is the fourth case and probably the shortest ace attorney case. Because the ups are so strong and back to back that there is no small down to take a breath, there is emotion after emotion in that case. Why not fifth case isn't your favourite you say? Because I can't warm up to the idea of main antagonist. Yeah he is threatening but his motivation is a thing that I can't warm up to nor get behind. Because of that I couldn't like him as much as other people does. For me he is more on the villain side then being a grey character with learning what his real intentions are.

But still a solid game with breathtaking moments. After all this game is about broken spirited people than the most ace attorney games ever had been and it does what it does greatly(other than the garbage 3rd case of course)

i’m incredibly normal about feenie

TURURURURUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU TURURU TURURUTURURUUUU

phoenix wright i love you you pathetic little man

unrealistic that godot isn’t dead of caffeine overdose

[ Story: 9/10 | Gameplay: reading/10 | OST: 8/10 ]

Godot.

fuck godot and terry fawles but it's great. strong end to the trilogy

Best of the franchise and it's not even a contest

Awesome but without a guide or savestates sometimes tedious. Recipe for turnabout was not the best.

Hoo boy. I didnt like this game as much as others. It gives you the fun gameplay and compelling stories the series is known for but man. Case 3 is the bane of my existence and I honestly hate Godot. His arguments in court essentially boil down to "I hate you, therefore you are wrong" which gets real old, real fast. (Plus I dont get the hype around his theme). This game is still great. It's got the best final cases in ace attorney. I love how every plotline and character intersect in case 5. The music is great. Playing as Mia was fun but personally I see it as being a little bit better than Justice For All (which isn't an insult I love it and it's bad cases are also pretty bad)

Trials and Tribulations is an outstanding game. It has one of the best overarching stories in this entire series, and the game truly feels like it's a love letter that wraps up Phoenix's journey of what it really means to be a lawyer and how he grows through out the course of these games. T&T features many great cases and while the game does have it's noticeable issues, it's a fantastic third game that wraps up one of my favorite trilogies of all time.

Masterpiece of a game, with 4 excellent cases (3-3's ok) that all tie together to reach an incredible conclusion to both this game and the two before it

first and last case were too strong to dislike the middle 2 cases.

a lawyer only cries once its all over

This game is a tutorial on how to finish a trilogy

An end of an era. This installment upped the ante in terms of the story and stakes. The multiple endings are welcome and it a great way to wrap the trilogy. It also reminds me of my highschool era emulating DS games on my phone.

wonderful game, definitely a strong entry in the aa series. it's been a while, but here are my gripes in retrospect:

- the entire third case. it's not the worst in terms of story/plot/mystery but i hated so many of the witnesses
- terry fawles
- dahlia (for as interesting of a character as she could have been i really found her to be one-dimensional, or perhaps generously two-dimensional, and i think she deserved better)
- godot in the last case....

My favorite Ace Attorney game as I write this. A beautiful conclusion to the trilogy, every case is a banger, Dahlia is an amazing villain and that ending is just incredible. Might make a full review sometime. 10/10

phneonix wrihgt i am so in love wiht you

outstanding way to end the trilogy

a lawyer only cries once it's all over.

To err is human, to forgive, divine. Humans aren't machines... they have souls, feelings. They live, they die, they love, they hate... and yes, they even make mistakes.

Great game, but very irresponsible of Godot to glorify crushing a cup in your hand and bleeding from the cuts

that happened to me once and if you think that's "cool and poignant", well it's not that shit fucking hurt dude

what a slam dunk of a video game

Legitimately one of the greatest games ever. Especially the final case which literally blew me away.
