I've never played a 3D fighter before. This seems like it could be a fun party game with friends. It's pretty boring solo. I prefer having access to a full-size controller for this type of game. Fighting games don't feel right on handhelds.

Obviously I appreciate the new characters and stages, but this one went nuts with the environmental hazards and items, especially in there's four-man multi-player. It's too chaotic, and so is the campaign.

Its fun but the arcade mode was surprisingly short.

Release a third game already Capcom!

Besides Smash, the only other fighting game I remember playing as a kid were the Power Stone games, and boy did I obsess over Power Stone 2. Unlike platform fighters which totally took off after Smash, we never really saw a fighting game like Power Stone again. Damn shame.

Probably the best arena fighter I have ever played. There was only one part I did not enjoy where you had to fight blank item spammer enemies who were impossible to hitstun, but aside from that they really fixed every issue I had with the first game, with the titular power stone mechanic being a lot more spaced out, lot less OP, generally just doesn't make fights cyclical anymore, I liked that part. The levels are all super unique with some special fun objectives, weirdly arcade mode only has one round per fight opposed to best of three but all in all this really is just a super cool super fun sequel to an already great game.
