Bro, okay, I know I'm reviewing a f***ing SIms game here, but The Sims Medieval is absolutely peak. Please play it. Even if you hate The Sims and never want to play a Sims game. It's so good.

You ever wanted to kill a man who slept with your wife with a large sword, now you can!

Gets old kinda fast but it's fun as fuck when you're playing it. Like the vast majority of Sims games, there isn't really much in the way of a clear objective so it might leave you wondering what else you could've been doing during that time but hey, at least you were playing the best Sims game.

my parents got eaten by a whale

Could have more depth, but still very well thought out for what it is.

I liked the part where my bard was going on a mold-induced trip and had a spiritual awakening with a bear while sitting in a puddle of mud.

Wish you could play without having to do quests.

i go through phases where i play the shit out of this for a week or two and then forget it exists completely for months or even years

One of my absolute favorite sims games. Just lovely.

I love this title. It is a smaller-scale sims game within a medieval setting, where you create sims in each specific role in the kingdom, such as a knight, the king, the wizard etc. They pulled it off. It's just a shame that this title could have been so much more. This is a shame because unlike The Sims 3 with its abundance of expansions, this game only got one. But hey, it's still a great Sims title that I recommend if you want to enjoy a different setting but keep what is The Sims.

You can poison people, gut them with a sword during a duel, send them to be executed via being thrown to a giant beast's lair (or get thrown in there yourself for breaking the law and survive if you're good enough), save your kingdom by participating in a clockwork golem breakdancing competition... very nice overall.

Super creative compared to what would follow!

this is literally peak none of yall get it

none of these sims go to church

This game is a medieval version of The Sims Stories with better graphics and much more repetitive, so repetitive as to make you abandon the game

They decided to do a completely new game based on quests with limited features instead of just taking full advantage of their Sims 3 assets. Therefore you can't build houses (the buildings are basically stages where you can put objects) and the characters don't age (Basically like in the Sims 1), among other frustrating details. However, I had fun playing as the king and I would like to complete the whole thing one day. I love that you have to pick a character flaw for every character, it makes them more human.

A good mixture of RPG elements and usual Sims gameplay. The problem is mostly the fact that you have to replay the same quest over and over with each new castle that you start, but in general, it has a fun gameplay loop (if you like The Sims of course).

Muito grande para mentes pequenas

very fun at first but it gets super repetitive once you finish a game completely. I wish there was a way to do all the scenarios in one save with a world that continuously expands rather than having to start over again and again and only the ability to carry one of your character over to the next game.

if it only got more packs and wasn't programmed by 3 apes on crack...

The world needs more games like The Sims Medieval where you can create yourself and your friends and see how you survive in an entirely new environment. Better than sims 1-3, sometimes even better than my life (if one doesn't take in account that everyone is dying of plague)

i loved this game cuz i was so obsessed with middle ages and them youtube videos named 'Why You Wouldn't Survive In Medieval time'

Underrated game. Quests are the best.

i started playing it years ago cuz my sister loves it and i forgot to keep playing lol
