eu to cansada de mundo aberto checklist.

Theres something about this game that JUST stops it being an all time classic, visually impeccable, insanely optimised on PS5, satisfying stabby combat....a lot of the story, whilst engaging ends up following a somewhat similar format, someones killed or missing, follow the tracks, kill the Mongols etc and this can become a bit stale. I would advise sticking to the main story and ally sub-stories without getting too bogged down in side quests.

me diverti muito no ps4, excelente jogo, e agr vou rejogar no pc raleuuuuu

Probably the best looking game I've ever played in terms of visual design. Every frame looks like a painting.

The gameplay of Ghost of Tsushima is fantastic. The katana feels real with all the different stances and attack combinations it gives you the freedom to decide on your own which kind of samurai you want to be. This supported with the bow and the ghost weapons makes the combat system nearly perfect.

The story of the game is great aswell. Following the main storyline you will encounter well placed plottwists and a brilliantly crafted emotional end. The side quests often are different but unfortunately some are repetitious. Nevertheless the tales of your allies were pretty great to follow.

Open world is well designed, you have countless things to do. Especially in the beginning you feel very excited to discover all the things you can do. Unfortunately there are a little bit too much of the same activities in the game. Like 49 fox dens which are 49 times the same thing. This has been done to extend the games playtime. But that's a general problem of modern videogames.

What this game does great is how you are led through the open world. You do not have a marker that shows you where to go like we are used to from Ubisoft's games. No, the wind shows you the way. This is an fantastic idea because it works perfect and does not overload your HUD. I loved it and hope that more games will implement something like this.

So let's turn to the definitely best aspect of this game: CINEMATOGRAPHY

Right from the beginning I was stunned of this game's graphics. The leaves blown by the wind, the grass, the water all looks just perfect. There is no way to top this quality! I think they finally reached the limit in terms of graphics. The whole story feels like a big budget movie because they have scenes where they mastered camera work. For example during dialogues, the cameras angle changes which creates breathtaking pictures. This masterclass work concludes in the finale where we get one of the most beatiful shots ever.

To summarize that, Ghost of Tsushima has a great story, brilliant gameplay and PERFECT cinematography. This makes the game to a MUST PLAY.

Story:
4/5 (Starts off slow but delivers some amazing moments coupled with a phenomenal ending
Visuals:
5/5 (Every frame looks drop-dead gorgeous)
Combat:
5/5 (Insanely satisfying and fun)
Pacing:
3.5/5 (Really slow at the start but picks up in Act 2)
Overall:
4.5/5 (Phenomenal game)

Loved the fact that the horse will catch up with you to allow you to jump on without breaking your stride, it's the neat things like that which make Ghost of Tsushima really immersive!

The last boss battle legit gave me chills! So good, everything about this game is amazing! From gameplay to graphics to music to sound.

However, the missions are very repetitive but it was fine with the main story since each mission had a different goal etc. But after you finish the main story, they just become a bland boring rescue mission. After the main story, there isn't much going for it besides the DLC if you want to play that.

By no means is this game groundbreaking in any sense. It's an open-world game with skill trees, side-quests and stealth mechanics.
Regardless, it's a solid experience, with fun-enough combat, great visuals, and enough extra things to do if that's your cup of tea.

Started it on PS5 but saw it was coming to PC, so held off continuing it in order to play it on PC instead. So far I did very very like what I played.

might be the best combat I’ve witnessed in a game

Story was really underwhelming. It basically does nothing new with the Samurai genre we are so familiar with.

Really gorgeous game that shines on PC with a fantastic art style. The story was really enjoyable and well paced. Even though I am over these "Ubisoft" style open world games the open world is reasonably sized although could still be cut back a bit with the Mongol camps, combat is solid but nothing crazy.

I wouldn't say this game is a masterpiece or anything but it's a good time overall.

Man i wish Japan was a real place

It looks amazing and it plays really well. These are the only positive things I can say about it. The story and characters feel so incredibly shallow and soulless that the recent AC games look like Witcher 3 in comparison. And also, not every game has to be open world, especially if they're not going to make use of that open world. You just go from point A to point B and do the same things over and over again like 30 times or something. Must've been worth the 6 years of development.

Ghost of Tsushima is overall a good game, you'll get a fantastic samurai story which reminds Kurosawa's work, a beautiful landscapes and a good combat system. However it has some small flaws for the stealth and the ripetitivity of the gameplay

When I started playing this, I sat in front of my TV for 12 hours a day.

Fucking beautiful game. Great new release on PC to test my specs on... and that's about all I have to say that's good because the rest of what I played was dreadfully uninspiring and boring. The one exception to that being that the very minimal HUD and reliance on visuals to guide the player is genuinely really cool and something that more games should borrow from.

It's a solid game, from the manner the open-world gameplay is handled, to the combat, which (most of the time), works.
The game does follow the Ubisoft tower conquering systems, but this time with fun encounters and decent stealth, making it less tedious, but somewhat repetitive.
Ghost of tsushima delivers, with a great samurai story about honor, a great soundtrack and beautiful graphics.

Oh man, I do not know where to begin. This was a game I initially had spite towards without having played it because I wanted Sucker Punch to go back to Infamous or Sly Cooper so bad, and knowing a Ghost of Tsushima sequel is on the way, I felt even more resentment. In saying that, I felt I should at least give it a try and see what all the hype is about, and man did this game not hold back. Out the get go, it impressed me so well, with a great cinematic opening act that really makes you feel like you are caught in between a war between the Samurai and the Mongols. This game has color to it like no other, with a world filled to the brim with detail. This game is an open world game that is much unlike others where you follow pinpoints across a vast empty map, instead, this game has you paying attention to its world, whether it is following foxes down secret holes, or following birds or the wind towards your next destination. I felt that many of its characters and locations felt extremely real and purposeful, with no space really feeling too similar to the other. Each section of this worlds huge open world map felt unique and new, with enemies that improved in both their gear and weapon techniques as time went on. Enemies did not get harder in the sense that they gained more health, rather, they improved in their fighting styles and became much more cohesive in their attacks as the games story goes on. The combat is definitely the highlight of this game, with many different ways of approaching enemies whether it be through ghost weapons (stealth) or full-blown frontal assault. The soundtrack is phenomenal and truly pays off when it has to, especially in the most gut-wrenching emotional scenes. The duels and boss battles in this game are like no other. I got chills every time the heavy drums and orchestral score began once you and your foe opposed each other with sword in hand, ready to strike with beautiful, vast, centerpieces making the backgrounds. Everything feels real, feels badass, and it truly just makes you feel like a samurai.

While its collectibles are fun, it can be overbearing at times. I feel this game has much padding added to it through its side missions and bases, which fun at first, can feel like a drag if you decide to take on this ambition of clearing all of Tushima islands pins, which is what I decided to do. I felt at times was it worth pursuing the 100%, but convinced myself to go off into the main story once again and come back to the side content once I was getting too tediously distracted with all of its fluff. Granted, that is a criticism that can be said for many open world games that force you to take on that said side content, and it was great that Ghost of Tsushima respects my time and allows it to be optional. While the 100% was fun, I feel I would have had a better time simply playing through this games fantastic main story, however, it was at no detriment of its own as this game was glorious in every sense of the term. I look forward to what Sucker Punch has in store for us next.

Will be playing the DLC and updating this review*

Currently re-playing on PC.

I should say that despite this getting 4/5, it's among my all-time favorite video games. I can't rate this a perfect 5 down to a form of design that I tend to find entirely exhausting and mind-numbingly boring: The Ubisoft formula. It's all over this game and in good conscience, I can't pretend otherwise ...

...even if in this iteration, I actually find that it works mostly pretty fine. When I say that, I mean possibly the best way it has been implemented since the legendary Far Cry 3 (which is a game that is both an all-timer and heavily responsible for this type of bloat design that has plagued so many games).

I feel that a Ghost of Tsushima sequel that reins in the open-world bloat a bit while providing more substantial / meaningful encounters would hit the top of the mountain. The first game though, it's not perfect but for what so much it IS doing, it's like fucking candy to me. Satisfying combat, stunning artwork/design and killer voice work (two of my buddies played this in English and hey, different strokes right ... but i'll never understand why anybody would do that).

Also, yes, I adore Kurosawa and Kobayashi so no shit this hits a particular chord with me haha. All the great, and some of the bad. One of my favorites.

Living Legend / A Legend for All Time 🏆

Beautiful story, world, characters, fighting

I’ve played about 2 hours so far… I can tell this is going to be in my top 5

A new location to explore and a more optimized experience. This game is amazing.

Boooooooringgggggggggggggg Zzzzz

Bellissima ambientazione. Gioco facilotto e all'inizio anche poco fluido, quando sblocchi le abilità migliora ma le attività dell'open world sono sempre le solite.
