I’ve invested almost 1000 hours into this sh/t and have regretted every single second of it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from it, it’s not worth it.
Rocket League hasn’t been the same for a long time, and ever since Epic Games (aka the biggest junk shop, giving away boring games for free to improve their image) bought the game, it has gotten even worse than it already was.
The mere fact that Rocket League became free some time ago and the players who previously bought the game with money received nothing significant from Epic Games says it all and further confirms my point of view. Since this trash became free, there are more smurfers than ever before. The ranks are so unbalanced now that you can’t really enjoy playing at any rank.
But "fun" and Rocket League are two terms that should never be used in the same sentence anyway. Even before all the Epic Games nonsense, “fun” was definitely out of place in Rocket League. When game developers decided it was a good idea to include Quick Messages like “What a save!” or “Savage!”, it turned out to be the biggest mistake Psyonix ever made. Provocations with such messages are common and promote the toxicity of this goddamn community to an abnormal level.
In summary, my 950 hours of gameplay have been wasted time and I can only advise everyone against even touching this game. Invest your valuable time elsewhere rather than playing a dying game from Epic trash.

Just sometime I play this game with some friends or with my girlfriend. Tried to platinum it too on Playstation 4 but couldn't get one because of some bug.
- Really fun game mixing soccer with mini-car flips and tricks.
- The mechanics of this game are actually quiet complex on how you can control your car, positioning and ball control which gives it longevity.
- Supported by the fact it has a strong multi-player scene and strong online support.

I've played this game for hundreds of hours even though it hopelessly goes against what I like in art, with garish aesthetics, an awful soundtrack, and a userbase that somehow manages to make cars playing indoor soccer with bottle rockets strapped to their rears toxic as hell.
I think rocket league tickles my chimp brained desire for competitiveness and recalls when i'd play foozball with my dad growing up (house rules meant no limit to spinning the bars)

O jogo é bem bonito e parte de uma ideia muito legal, só que na minha opinião a curva de aprendizado é gigantesca. Fazer aquilo que se vê em clipes de Tik Tok e etc é de uma dificuldade tremenda. Porém, na minha experiência, o jogo não me divertiu o suficiente para que eu me esforçasse para aprender mais, sempre acabava me sentindo perdido jogando.
really fun and unique game, great to play with friends, huge learning curve but after getting past it its one of the most expressive and skillful games, only downside is that they got rid of cases and trading in favor of a battle pass. peak shaking head emoji

Good for a romp. I had to tape my controller so my car would drive around in circles to get the "Far Far Away" trophy for distance traveled.
fun and original idea, they are killing it mroe and more with the updates though

I have a problem.
I have been playing it on and off for years now, and man to sum it up, its a phenomenal game, brilliantly designed, the perfect combination of skill and chaos, but is limited by the fact it basically hasn't had a new content update in more than half a decade(which wasn't skins).

Fun to occasionally play with friends. But you can only play football with cars for so long.
