Deltarun Chapter 1 was peak and Chapter 2 might just be even peaker.
Adds more to what the first chapter did and does everything just a bit better as well

Maybe losing in charm and emotional efficiency by feeling longer and more aimed at building stuff... but gaining intensity in places where Undertale still emits its distant radiance to me, mystery.
Felt less of a connection with an approach that feels less authentic, but really liking where this is going in terms of gameplay and narrative, and it still holds the previously hilarious stuff and cute characters.

Chapter 1 did not do nearly this much to make me as excited for the rest of the chapters as this did it's like part of my reason for keeping on at this point I NEED it
Big step up from chapter 1! I love the new characters, the writing is peak. The scenarios and the mechanics are also a lot more interesting.

Waiting for the full game to come out before I can say whether or not I like it more than Undertale, but there are definitely new and different aspects that I love the addition of.
Deltarune has a lot of potential to become a classic, Chapter 2 shows a vast improvement from Chapter 1 (which I already thoroughly enjoyed.) The characters are lovable, the plot is interesting and I wonder where the mystery of the game will take us next.

A great addition to deltraune. Toby’s writing, suspense, soundtrack and charm is all as strong as ever.
Not as good as the first part imo mostly due to the villain. The frequent silly nature of it became tiring for me.
New route is amazing and so promising for future parts.
