This is partly nostalgia but I love this game. The open world, the characters, the story, the levels, the vehicles. I have gotten 100% on both the Switch and Wii U and I loved it both times. Never felt like a chore. Why they never made another one is beyond me but it deserves a sequel.

Still definitely one of the most creative and enjoyable lego games that took a simple and mundane premise and made it super fun enjoyable and interesting with so much to do to explore an dot juts have fun with its a great game.

I played this game with my little brother years ago when it released. Very fun open world take on the Lego formula. This game is filled with so many movie references that at least half of them went over my head at first. They were clearly aiming for getting some laughs out of the parents watching their kids play this. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I was seeing.
Definitely one of the better LEGO games. It's the classic formula put into an open world. The concept works really well, the city is fun to explore with A LOT of tasks and collectibles. Missions are similiar to the other LEGO games with self contained levels and the humor is really fun. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a LEGO game with all the strengths and weaknesses. A little bit too repetitive to give it a higher rating (since all the puzzles basically repeat themselves) but I'd definitely recommend it!
Basically Lego GTA, and I really loved it. Not only felt the world super huge, the story was a joy too! The humour was truly delightful. Bought this game a second time, on Switch.
The game has Lego Columbo so it's a easy 10/10

One of the best lego experiences, played the Remaster on PC and had a blast, the characters are likable, the story is enjoyable and there is a lot of collectables, a shame that Chase just fell into the underused LEGO characters club.
