A survival horror oddity for the DS that I replayed on a phone emulator.
The atmosphere of this game is super duper intense. The soundtrack has a lot of droning, ambient noise, with a very haunting leitmotif floating around in the background of some areas. The sound effects are loud and echoing, emphasizing the fact that you are all alone. It creates such a spooky vibe that I haven’t seen replicated by any game but the sequel. The story is decent here as well, with some great beats and a satisfying conclusion.
Overall I’d recommend this to anyone with a passing interest in survival horror. It’s very different from the hallmarks, but its unique style and amazing ambience make it well worth checking out.
