the fighting in this game is pretty enjoyable! the story is nice too, but the base game didn't need to be as long and repetitive. the ultimax part is much more fun, even if the final boss is pretty bad

As a fighting game this game is absolutely fantastic, but story wise it definitely leaves something to be desired. Still an improvement over the first Arena game though, at least in the way it's story is structured.

Shadow characters are kind of a fun addition but really they're just situationally slightly better/worse versions of the same characters most of the time. The game stands up enough on its own though; the characters are unique and fun and the music is good too. I wish the attacks had a little more oomph though.

This game takes what the previous version did and adds so much more. In addition to the arcade styled story modes, there's an entire traditional story mode that's genuinely super interesting. Sho Minazuki is another great character who retroactively makes Ikutsuki from P3 a better character, even though he's still pretty unremarkable at the end of the day. The cast of playable characters is about as deep as it could be for the source materials.

Despite being a sequel, this really just feels like an "ultimate edition" of P4A.

Is it improved? Well the story mode didnt put me to sleep, so I'd say yes. Its nothing special but enjoyable enough

Also why does Junpei look like Adachi?

Really good gameplay, tons of fun with friends.
Terrible writing. If you play this game's story mode, then expect an entire YIIK's worth of dialogue ten times over.

A very refreshing fighting game and one of the last of its era of anime fighters
So many different ideas from games like KOF, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and even Jojo's comes together to create something unique and fun to play

joguei pouco, 1h30m, mas nao curti mt. nao sou fa do genero, mas achei a gameplay muito mais rapida e dificil do que os outros do mesmo genero costumam ser. porem curti os designs, parece ser bom até, so nao é o meu tipo

when i discover a new move and have to be a nuisance with it

Alexa play Marilyn Manson's The Fight Song

Esse jogo não me agradou. Eu não acho que ele seja ruim mas não faz meu tipo.

I'm honestly really shocked with how good a fighting game based on a series with turn based combat is. They manage to incorporate elements of typical Persona gameplay like SP and element attacks like Ziodyne in such a smooth way that blends seamlessly with the fighting. The story was also entertaining but suffered a bit from the way it presents itself, especially in the P4A campaign. Events usually get repeated a lot with only miniscule differences in between each character's story which makes it very confusing as to what's actually canon and what isn't. This was fixed in the Ultimax campaign though by just having a semi-straight path you progress through instead of individual character stories. Other than that, the campaigns were cool and it was fun seeing the P3 and P4 cast interact with each other. Makes me excited to see them talk with each other more when I play Persona Q. But now I can finally move on to the game I've been most excited to play next... Persona 5 Royal.

The only time Yosuke Hanamura has ever had the sauce

Intensely feedback-heavy anime fighter with some mechanics that feel gratuitously complicated. The story mode is a bloated visual novel but there is lots of it. A very complete package if you're amenable to its charms, personally I found it a bit overwhelming.
