it made me cry back in the day so i will be generous but this is very much a one and done game, no replayability or anything whatsoever

War from the perspective of the everyday people, what better way to make a tearjerker?

i've lost my save file before finishing it and had to beat it on youtube, but it doesn't change how emotional i got from the ending

tão bom que nem parece da Ubisoft

Valiant Hearts: The Great War isn't your typical war game. It's a heartfelt story about ordinary people caught up in the chaos of World War I. You follow a group of characters from different countries, all connected in surprising ways. The art style is beautiful, and the puzzles are clever without being frustrating. It can be a bit slow at times, and the ending might leave you wanting more, but overall, it's a moving experience that reminds you of the human cost of war.

Has to be in every conversation for best narrative and soundtrack

Great game with a beautiful story while teaching us the horrors of the war. Very different war game in every aspect, this one relies on puzzle solving and narrative driven rather than advancing and shooting, it is a nice change of pace for war games. Superb art direction using very desaturated tones with few contrasts to help highlight certain elements of the game and setting a dark/sad atmosphere while having soothing/hope feeling from the characters.

Great story and beautiful art style that can depict the horrors of war well, when it isn't being comedic or at times overly comedic. Final level is one of the best designed I've seen and a perfect example of having a likely ingrained response from playing a lot of video games.

Has a few time wasting fetch quest and "puzzle" style elements.
