With a very simple combat system and the (few) modes failing to diversify gameplay in a significant manner, the only thing left for Supersonic Warriors 2 to stand out as a DBZ game is its rich offer of "What-If" content: the roster isn't big, but it's cleverly used to create a lot of intriguing and charming scenarios diverging from the canon timeline. Nothing more than cute hypotheticals though, especially because of the game's primitive storytelling as "cutscenes" are nothing more than extremely brief speech-bubble conversations with static portraits, leaving an awful lot to the imagination.
