controls are dog shit, the music is absolutely excellent, dr. cortex is funny af, certain parts nearly drove me insane... a gem. they don't make ones like these anymore

This game had so so much potential, yet it was squandered in favor of rushing the game's release. The core gameplay itself is so fun and novel. I love Crash and Cortex's banter as you travel the island and Nina is a cool new addition to the gameplay loop. The art and soundtrack are so charming, point me in the direction of any other game that uses an a cappella soundtrack, please. Yet, everyone knows this game is basically half of a game. I would love for Activision to revisit this gameplay style at least once with a complete product.
Could've been a fun game if it wasn't so unfinished or broken. I had to abuse save states to play through the game because it was crashing every 10 minutes. At some point, it became so unbearable that I had to give up.

I wish this game was finished, there are so many good ideas here that I wish were more flesh out, I was expecting the Crash and Cortex joined together thing was gonna be more prominent throughout the game like in Whiplash
