Yes, this is a 5/5 rating for fans of the series. I'm sorry, but it's impossible to be unbiased for games like these. I can possibly imagine that the fighting can get repetitive, but if that's the criticism, then why are you playing a Dragon Ball game?
Regardless, the side quests can feel a bit dry at parts; I will happily give you that. The music, the graphics, the DLC that continued the game for years after its release, and I think you have a gem on hands that allows for replay. It can be seen as a more streamlined, more interactive version than DBZ: Kai; and yes, I do mean that as a compliment!

DBZ Kakarot definitivamente é um dos jogos de Dragon ball já lançado. Conta de uma boa maneira as sagas do Z, com cutscenes lindíssimas, que brilham os olhos, os efeitos visuais todos são um show a parte, sendo a melhor parte de seus gráficos, as cores vivas dos kamehamehas e big bangs, são verdadeiramente estonteantes, seu combate é simples, lembrando levemente os de budokai tankaichi, um botao pra bater, um pra ataque de ki, um pra esquiva, pra voos, pressionando o gatilho vc tem ataques especiais juntamente de transformações e assim por diante, nada muito complexo, sendo prejudicado apenas pelo sistema de niveis, o que achei algo bem desnivelado e desnecessário para o jogo, algumas firulas de rpg que mostra uma falsa complexidade totalmente desnecessária.
No fim o jogo é honesto, com uma gameplay divertida e uma história bem feitinha que nos faz lembrar dos melhores momentos do maior anime da história.
No que tange a platina, ela é tbm bem fácil, podendo ser feita em qualquer dificuldade, sendo apenas chata em alguns momentos, mas ainda sim fácil.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot foi uma verdadeira viagem nostálgica para mim como fã da série. Reviver cada saga com um nível de detalhe tão fiel e imersivo foi simplesmente mágico. Adorei explorar o vasto mundo aberto, voar por cenários icônicos e interagir com personagens queridos. As batalhas, embora pudessem ser repetitivas, eram visualmente espetaculares e cheias de ação. Cada momento épico, como a transformação de Goku em Super Saiyajin, me trouxe arrepios. Para mim, Kakarot não é apenas um jogo, mas uma celebração emocionante e apaixonada de Dragon Ball Z.

It's got your usual problems that other Open World Games of this type have. Lots of side quests where you collect menial items, wide spacious areas with not much to do in them besides collecting crafting materials for other things, and just general repetitivness in battles. At the same time, there is something incredibly charming about playing an open world Dragon Ball game as your favorite characters reliving through all 4 story arcs of the Anime. Aside from an occasional freeze getting out of a cutscene, the game preforms very smoothly and has gorgeous visuals. The fact that all main story arcs are fully voiced by their respective rubbers is also extremely welcome. They definitely didn't skimp on voice lines. All performances are great as always really showing off that DBZ quite possibly has one of the best English dubs out there, and while Cha-La-Head-Cha-La can play during the story more than you'd want it to, it never ceased to pump me the hell up for what was about to happen. Yeah, the combat can get a bit grindy and repetitive at some points, but that's just Dragon Ball Z Baby! Definitely worth a playthrough if your a fan of Z or are getting an itch to go back through the series, or are looking for a time killer before the release of Sparking Zero later this year. Rest in Peace Toriyama. Thank you for being a legend for all these years.
