If you live in a major city with over a million people and played pokemon go when it came out and it was the closest we've ever been to world peace, you're probably still playing this game.

If you live in Bumfuck, Egypt with a population of 400 like me, you probably tried this game out for a bit when you vacationed to a big city, had fun, and then never touched it again. It's not meant for us.

You should really only be playing this game if you like collecting pokemon or shinies. Battling sucks, but raids and community days are fun despite the awful monetization that get worse and worse each year.

This game is going to get shut down in like 7 years after an executive goes too far milking the game, mark my words.

It is what it is.

It was a global phenomenon. Most people uninstalled by now.

Some of us still login every now again.

Couldn't rate it lower. It is iconic.

[LVL 6, Team Valor, 25 Pokemon caught] My first Pokemon game, lol.

pokemon go was awesome but then proceeded to take hundreds of my dollars over the years fuck you niantic

GooeyScale: 65/100

I lost all my progress on my old account but its still fun (not as much as it used to be)

We had genuine world peace for a week.

Horrible trash game that I like catching little critters in.

quase morri jogando, nao recomendo

loved the vibes in 2016! but honestly not very fun lol

Its alright just a time waster that's super grindy don't have any notes

I keep trying to get into but I can't

I love this game and come back once a year to play. Peak when it came out and doing raids with friends and driving around

I dunno the game was too succesful for what was expected and honestly nobody should've been held accountable for not being "up to the standards" of an already shitty as fuck fandom who would drink piss willingly and then scream that they have been given piss to drink.

It was fun collecting the pokemon every now and then but you might need to travel a lot more for a game like this

I reinstalled this recently after previously having a little bash at launch when I had awful data package which made the game practically unusable

[~9 days]
I visited a mate and his kid was playing this game; I offhandedly mentioned that I used to play it and the kid wanted to see my account so I reinstalled it. And here we are, a week and some change later. I have grown from Level 4 to Level 28. I'm blessed that I can access a Pokestop and Gym whilst inside my house; that admittedly helps progress quickly as I can play casually whilst watching TV etc. Also I now have 300GB data a month, plus I walk ~7km a day commuting to/from work which involves walking a couple Routes, and bypassing many Stops/Gyms etc. I struggle to do Curveballs at the moment, and I've not been able to do any Raids/Party yet, but we endure. I admittedly get frustrated with seeing the same 'mon everywhere with only the occasional new one. I have the Campfire app but not had much luck. Getting quite acquainted with PokeGenie and have a "Hundo" already, my 15/15/15 IV Chimchar. Last night I was standing in the pouring rain in the middle of a vacant park to enter my Marenie into a Showcase event. I guess I'm getting pretty invested, huh?

Going outside? me? a gamer? no way, not doing it.

Jokes aside, actually being able to catch the pokemon yourself is a pretty cute mechanic, especially when you have your camera on and can look around you, but its just not for me, besides the fact I rot away in my basement I just don't like Pokemon enough to be engaged by it. Not having friends to at least do gyms with made it just eh and look at cute pokemon sim, which I can do on google.

We had Pokemon Go to the polls, then world peace was over, oh to go back to 2016. Love collecting the pokemon other than that don't really do much, good for a mobile game and great idea for fans.

conheci lugares da minha cidade onde eu nunca iria

я в одинцово захватил суд

didn’t have the data for it

desde 2016 instalándomelo y desinstalándomelo por temporadas, ahora llevo más de un año seguido jugando y no tengo planes de dejarlo >:)

Good game to play on and off, just a little bit grind heavy if you want to get cool stuff.

they hate their playerbase man...

I want to rate Pokémon Go higher but right now, with their recent changes to avatars, the way things work with remote raid passes when COVID died down, it really hurt my want to play this game. As a rural player, the remote raid pass changes hurt especially out of anything else and really impacts not only my wish to play the game but my overall ability to in the first place

Closest to world peace we will get
