Was gonna give this game .5 but I remembered Shoot the Works is on this soundtrack so 1 star.

I went in to this game with an open mind. I know this is "the bad one," but I wanted to make my mind up for myself.
I have made up my mind. I didn't like it. I kinda liked the first half. It was simple and easy, but it had some novelty to it. I was happy to see the iconic dogshit DMC bosses like "evil meat tank" and "evil meat helicopter." "Oh, this game is too easy! This will be a short breeze!" I thought.
Well, it was short... but it wasn't a breeze. The second half of this game is a slog. Levels stretch on for too long, the camera angles get headache-inducing, the simple combat's janky charm wears off, and I just wanted it to be over.
It's over. I gave it my best shot and I found very little I liked here. One and a half stars because I thought a few of the visual effects in the menus and chapter end screens were cool. Dante's outfit in this one is cool. That's about all the good things I have to say.
